The next morning Eddie, Alex and Sophia found themselves back on the highway next to Eddie's precious Impala, the male was just finishing up putting a new set of tires on it when they heard something that suspiciously sounded like a gun cocking.
Wiping his hands on his jeans, Eddie got up, reaching into his car for his gun when he heard Alex's whimper, looking up, he was met with a man in his 50s to 60s holding a gun against Alex's head, 6 other men standing behind him, biting his lip, Eddie slowly raised his hands up.
"Let him go" he said, fear coursing through his body, "I will once you hand over that gun" he said, motioning to the gun in Eddie's right hand, Eddie nodded, slowly putting it on the ground and kicking it over.
"Now please let him go" he said, voice Shaky, "I call dibs on the vest" a man suddenly said, the elder man laughed, letting go of Alex who quickly ran over to Eddie.
"Get in my Impala and lock the door, you take Sophia and drive out of here if you have to" he whispered into Alex's ear, pushing him towards the blood red Impala.
"You heard my man, he wants your vest" the man said, Eddie bit his lip, slipping it off and handing it over, but as soon as he tried to retract his arm the man had grabbed it, yanking him forward, "I'm gonna fuck you up, and your gonna be a good boy and take it" the man said before throwing a mean punch to his jaw.
Groaning, Eddie was about to reach up to feel the already forming bruise when the man punched him in the stomach, causing him to fall to the ground, wheezing in pain.
The man quickly got on top of him, wrapping his hands around his throat and squeezing, Eddie struggled against him, tears gathering in his eyes.
{•° ALEX AND SOPHIA'S POV°•}
Alex and Sophia watched with wide fear filled eyes as the leader got off Eddie, backing away and letting his group of men surround Eddie's body, hitting and kicking every spot available.
Alex sobbed loudly as he watching a grab a pocket knife, quickly looking around, he spotted Eddie's shotgun in the backseat, quickly grabbing it, he opened the door and climbing out, he had to stay strong, for Eddie.
"GET OFF OF HIM!" He had shouted, the men stopped and looked at him before bursting out laughing, "whatcha doing to do, shoot me?" A man asked, grabbing a fistful of Eddie's hair and pulling his beaten and bloodied face up, Alex pointed at the man's leg, squeezed his eyes shut and pulled the trigger with trembling fingers, opening them when he heard a shout of pain.
Looking at the man, he watched the man fall down, hands holding his knee as he screamed in pain, his buddies stood behind him, looking at him with surprise.
"Ge-t out of h-her-e" he said stuttering, the men glanced at him before quickly got into the car, driving away and leaving their friend.
Dropping the gun, he quickly ran to Eddie, dropping in front of him and pulling his head into his lap.
"Eddie, wake up, please Eddie wake up" he said, brushing his long blood covered curls from his face, "Ed-die please, I need you" he said, shaking his shoulder a bit.
{•° RICK'S GROUPS POVE°•}
Rick and them had stood around a map, going over where they should go seeing as Lori was pregnant.
They had decided to head west when they heard a shotgun go off not so far behind them.
"What was that?" Carol asked, "it sounded like a gun," Glenn said, Rick glanced at all of them before waving Daryl and Glenn over, "well check it out, you guy's stay here" he said, the group nodded.
Driving in the direction where they heard the sound, they came to stop when they spotted Sophia.
"Is that Sophia??" Glenn asked in disbelief, Rick and Daryl wasted no time as they got out of the truck, quickly heading over to the little girl who let out a sob when she saw them.
Sophia wrapped her arms around Rick, sobbing out before pulling away, "you gotta help him!" She cried out, Rick, Daryl and Glenn glanced at each other in confusion before letting they're gazes drop to a little boy a little older than Sophia and Carl cradling a beaten and bloodied male's head in his lap, a man in front of them cradled his leg while crying out.
Tipping his head, he moved away from Sophia and over to them, crouching beside the boy who flinched away from him, bringing the older male closer to himself protectively, bringing the shotgun up to point at Rick, Rick flinched, slowly putting his hands up.
"Is he alive?" He asked, "I-I do-n't know" the boy choked out. Rick slowly moved closer to male, cautious of the young boy and pressed his fingers against the beaten male's neck to check for a pulse.
"He's alive but he needs attention" he said, the boy slowly put the gun down, cautiously nodding at Rick who picked Eddie up, carrying him towards the truck, stopping near Daryl, "he needs medical attention" he said, laying him in the back seat, the boy quickly got in and laid his head back into his lap.
"H-his Impala...he wouldn't leave it behind, he loves it" the boy quickly said, looking over, they looked at the blood red beauty.
"Give me the keys, I'll drive it" Daryl said, secretly loving the idea of getting the pleasure to drive such a striking car, the boy nodded hesitatingly, handing him a keychain that had a key and a metal batman symbol hanging from it.
"Sophia, you ride with me, you can tell me who they are and what happened" he said, Sophia nodded, quickly following him to the Impala.
Upon arriving, Hershel had treated the male who they had learned was Eddie, explaining that he needed plenty of rest.
Sophia had explained how Eddie and Alex found her in the cabin, how they had been trying to help her get back to them and how a bad group of men had threatened Alex and then how they had beaten Eddie.
After much talk about Eddie's condition and how he and Alex had been taking care of Sophia they had decided they could stay with the group.
And the man who got left behind by his group...well, let's just say he became Walker stew.

I was originally going to do the third chapter tomorrow but than I was like...nah.
I really wanted to finish this chapter so I get closer to my boys meeting each other.
