July 2, 1994- Saturday
Benny's POV-
What the hell is that I thought. Oh it's music today we are having a party for me and it was probably my mom and Liz. I got up and brushed my teeth. I went downstairs.
"We need like sliver metallic strip-" Liz said looking at me and y/n turned around
"Hey Benny go with y/n to the store," Liz said
"Ok let me change first," I said
I wanted a cup of water so I went to the sink and got some. I was going back to my room but stopped right in front of y/n and dabbed her up.
Y/n POV-
After a benny dabbed me up he left.
"Y'all would look so good together," Liz said
"Everyone tells us that but I don't think he likes me or that I like him," I said laughing
"Well I don't know maybe give it a try," Liz said laughing like she knew something.
"I don't know he's my best friend I don't think he likes me," I said
"Hey y/n you wanna go walking or four-wheeler," Benny said coming down the stairs
"It doesn't matter to me," I said
"Ok we can go walking," he said
"Here y/n," Liz said handing me money
Me and Benny went outside and he closed the door behind him. We started walking to the store.
"Do you know who's coming"
"Nah no one tells me anything," he said laughing
"Bro yesterday was funny," I said laughing
"Yes why the hell do they think we like each other," he said laughing
"I don't know but it's funny," I said laughing
I and Benny just kept laughing and walking. We got to the store and went to get the party supplies and we went to check out.
"Y/n?" I heard the cashier say
"Oh hey Brian," I said smiling. "I didn't know you worked here"
"Oh yeah I just got the job," he said
"Cool," I said
"Oh hey Benny happy late birthday," he said
"Thanks, man," Benny said
And we left. When we got out me and benny burst out laughing.
"You know he use to like you," Benny said
"STOP YOUR LYING," I said laughing
"No," he said laughing
"Cool y/n," he said making fun of me
"What," I said laughing
We headed back to Benny's house
"Bro stop," I said to Benny hitting his arm while he opened the door
"Looks like y'all had fun," Liz said
"Stop that was so embarrassing," I said
"What happened," Liz said laughing
"Ok so we saw a boy that goes to our school and when he told us he worked there I said "cool" but in like the most wired way"
"Yeah it was funny," Benny said
We were laughing for a few more minutes but I had to go home to take a shower.
I went to my bathroom and got in the water was warm I just kept thinking about what Liz told me. I don't think Benny likes me yet so many people tell me he does. I mean I don't think I like him. I just put music on and tried to forget about it.
