I am very confident in my vocals. I always say what I think and feel, and I never allow anything to deny me that quality. But in that moment, my tongue was paralyzed, and my mind could not gather up words into sentences. Only thoughts roamed around in my very confused and tired head.
Who is this man?
He must be some sort of thief for stealing the complexion of the seven seas...
I bring myself to a pause and correct my thoughts, to make them a little more suitable for this hostage situation I am in.
Who is this man?
He must be some sort of theif for stealing me.His response was similar to mine. He was quite for a second, but it seemed like his mind was faster at gathering up words into sentences. He almost said something before his eyes examined my improper garments. Like the wind he hurried to the bed, picked up a velvet blanket with delicate crochet displays, and presented it to me as to have a clue what to do with it. A shame how his eyes were locked with the carpet during the exchange.
I wrapped the velvet blanket over my shoulders and across my front. It reminded me from when I was a child back at the castle. The Castle.
I must go back home, the thought itself was strong enough for me to finally excerscie my vocals."You really must not abduct strangers" I say and his eyes widen in surprise, and I take it as my sign to continue "As important as you think your false motives are, trust me, abducted persons have far more important lives and duties in other palces–places, I mean!" My voice burned.
As I try to catch my first breath since the shipwreck, his voice interrupts.
"Important lives and duties in other places?" He questions as his blue eyes cast down a few shades in curiosity. He must not have a clue of who I may be. I remember the map of Sapphire Island. Though hung up and familiar to him, the faces of the Island are unfamiliar. This might have not been a plotted abduction after all. Just an abduction.
I must keep my idenity a secret.
"Yes..." I answer as if that is enough for him to understand. He looks at me in astonishment that I cannot understand. He must be dimwitted.
"Where do you come from?" He earnestly asks me. Sapphire Island.
"I am not from afar" My eyes travel all around the room. I am lying, indeed.
"Not far, I see" He smiles, nods, and I feel very offended.
"How is that supposed to be funny?" I counter.
"Well, initially, being washed up on my shore explains it" He confesses. This man says what he thinks with no hesitation at all.
"Well then, perhaps I must be a mermaid..." I tell him and unwittingly make my way to the Sapphire Island map.
"Perphaps you are"For the first time, I all-so-heartedly want an adventure to be over.
I felt the presence of another person shift from close behind me to right beside me. I pray he does not ask me why I have gravitated towards the map. Instead he looks at me curisolsy, as if to ask me a question, but he introduces himself.
"My apologies, I have not introduced myself, I am Eric" He breathes.
"Eric..." I repeat and he responds delicately.Eric is well mannered for introducing himself, he has engaging eyes, and he has a stimulus for abduction. I do not fully trust Eric.
I remain quite for sometime before I rember that I must exchange the introduction. Anything but my real name.
"I am...I am..." I trail off thinking of a name. All I am looking at are his eyes.
"My name is Azure" I smile.
"Blue"
"Yes...Blue" I fabricate a laugh to balance out the air between us.
"What a beautiful name...Azure"I have never thought that I would exchange names with my abductor, but I guess there is a first time for everything.
Enough of friendliness "Why have you abducted me!" I command him to answer
"What makes you think that?"
"Everything!" At this maxima I am furious and confused. I need answers. "You won't allow me to leave this premisis"
"Have you tried to leave?"
"No but..." I quite down.I must think of something bigger to affirm.
"Why have you abducted me?" My eyebrows furrow
"I have not abducted you, you were the one who was washed up on my shore" Eric point to his chest. How can I trust this man. This Eric.
"Prove it" is all I can say before the double doors to this wing open wide.AZURE:
