Huna glanced at Daisy standing looking straight at all of them. "What? Daisy you're here, thank goodness." She sighed with relief.
"Huh? What happened?" Daisy asked with complete confusion.
"Wait what? You have no idea what is going on do you?" She replied.
"Not at all. I followed Violet to the door and I heard yelling so I went through. Then I got trampled by all of you di-... dorks." Daisy held her tongue. She seems to have a trash mouth. "But what even happened? I have no clue."
"The whole boiling aisle just got taken over by some weird space child!" Huna shouted.
"What?!" She was in pure shock. She had no clue that any of this happened. "What? Where even are we? I don't know what is going on!"
"We are in the human realm." Luz the human child said.
"Wow. I've never been here before! This will be fun!" Daisy seemed more excited and happy about being here than the others. As if she had nothing to go back to in the demon realm.
Luz spoke up. "You guys can stay with me I guess. Since I don't think it will be safe for witches to be running around have have no idea about the human realm."
"Thank you." Huna thanked her.
"Hm, Human why isn't the rain boiling?" Daisy asked because she had already forgotten her name.
"Rain doesn't boil here."
"Wow!" Daisy's eyes lit up and she ran into the rain and started to spin around in it. "Wee! Woohoo!" She let out a soft chuckle.Every just stared at her 'Like what is wrong with you?'
Daisy seemed to be having the time of her life. She looks so happy. She looks free. Daisy looked up to the sky and smiled. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the rain falling on her face.
"Daisy, why are you so happy? Our families are still in there!" Huna said.
"Huh? Oh um. I don't have a family so..." she replied a bit embarrassed by this even though there wasn't a reason to be.
"You don't have a family?" Carson asked.
"No, I don't. Is that weird?"
"So you have just been living alone?" They ask another question.
"Yeah, for a few years now." She smiled and didn't notice how all of them looked concerned and confused. The others didn't wanna pry into it since it might be personal so they didn't ask any further questions. They all go to Luz Noceda's home. Her mother was surprised but relieved her daughter was alright. She didn't fully know where to put all these children though, there was a lot.
Huna and Daisy had to share a room but they did not mind.
"Wow, a mattress!" Daisy jumped on top of it and lay down. "It's comfortable." She smiled.
"Do you not own a mattress?" Huna asked as she sat on the other blow-up mattress on the floor.
"Well yes, but it has springs sticking out of it and it's just very uncomfortable." She replied.
"Why don't you get a new one?"
"Not enough money." She replied again in a simple way.Huna lay back and looked at the ceiling.
"Hm, wanna go for a walk?" Daisy asked as she rocked back and forth unable to sit still.
"No thanks." She replied.
"Awe. I guess I will have to go alone." Daisy shrugged and stood up.
"Oh put on some sort of thing to cover your ears. Don't want anyone to know witches are here."
Daisy nodded and looked for something that she could use. "I can't find anything." She grumbled. "What's this?" She picked up wireless earbuds. "These look like they will eat me!" She threw them across the room.
"OK then," Huna said not sure how to react. "I guess since it's late not a lot do people will see you if you be careful."
"Okay!!" Daisy then ran and jumped out the window.
"DAISY!" Huna yelled and ran to the window sill. "What is wrong with you!"
Daisy stood on the roof as she slid down slowly. "Uh- everything!" She ran down and landed on her feet.
Daisy gave a little wave and started to walk down the sidewalk. It was still pouring rain and it was very dark outside. It was so peaceful as she walked around. No sounds but the rain.
She wanted to dance in the rain so she walked to the park and stood in an open spot. She began to twirl around and laugh in happiness. She was free from the spirit of her father... she was completely free.
"Woo!" She spins once more and lands on her back on the wet grass ground. She laughed, she was so happy. She closed her eyes and let the raindrops fall on her face and eyelids.
Suddenly the rain above her stopped. The sound of the rain hitting something continues. Daisy opened her eyes to see a girl with blond long hair and a blue dress, she was carrying an umbrella with her that covered her head. "Are you ok?" She asked.
"Huh? Oh yes, I am ok." Daisy smiled and looked at the girl more closely.
(Oh? This girl looks familiar...)
