Alan floated towards Xymadroma, he only knew he reached it because he saw water streams coming down from the sky, the sky island was so high up it didn't even cast a shadow downwards. Alan floated up until he started seeing it.

-we were put on Xymadroma to symbolise empathy, we see all creatures as bundles of emotions rather than bodies, and we're always so careful not to trigger any one of those delicate emotions in a bad way, if an ilya hurts somebody, they will live with that guilt for a lifetime, which is why ilyas have the highest suicide rate of all creatures on AZ, almost one in every five ends their life, either because they hurt others or seen too many hurt people or things, as their empathetic body cries from pain, their soul perishes slowly, and once a soul dies, a pond in the brain of the ilya gets triggered, called the "end pond" and the ilya takes their life.
