"My grandpa is a very loving person. Oh, did you already know my grandpa from before ?"

Seok Jin suddenly remembered that previously when their blind date was arranged, his grandpa had aggressively recommended Jungkook, so they should know each other. However, the man across him thought about it and then shook his head, "I've heard about him, but I've never met him personally."

"But grandpa had nothing but high praises for you. Are you sure you've never met my grandpa ?"

Seok Jin looked a little suspicious but when he saw that Jungkook looked serious and thoughtful, he could not help but say, "I still feel like there is something odd about you two."

"If you really insist on some sort of connection then I can tell you that previously in France, I did have some business relations with your grandpa. Although I've never met him himself, now he seems to have become my grandpa too. This relationship would clearly be more of substance then," Jungkook answered.

He thought about it and then added, "Wait till your injury has recovered further, then I'll bring you back to the Jeon Residence. I'm sure they will be very satisfied with you. Let's eat now."

Seok Jin's little face was vaguely surprised. He analysed the man from the side before silently lowering his head to eat.

Seok Jin never would have thought that a man's culinary skills could be this impressive. He had just taken a bite of the scrambled eggs with fresh tomatoes when he could not help but gobble it all up. Across from him, Jungkook kept adding food to Seok Jin's bowl and Seok Jin did not even pretend as he just accepted it all.

When the meal was over, Seok Jin had guzzled more than half of the food. He had rated two whole bowls— an amount shocking even to himself.

"Did you specialise in culinary ?" Seok Jin put his chopsticks down with satisfaction and asked.

Seok Jin felt that Jungkook's culinary skills were even better than his appa, Kim Seong Hee's. Realising how almost all the plates on the table were cleaned by him, Seok Jin's pretty face couldn't help but reveal two faint clouds of scarlet spots.

Jungkook thoughtfully looked at the empty plates and then turned to Seok Jin. He did not miss the way Seok Jin looked all embarrassed and he laughed softly, "When I'm free, I sometimes try my hand at it to pass the time, but I couldn't tell that you actually had the potential to upgrade to a foodie."

When Seok Jin heard the remark about his appetite, he was stunned for a moment and his expression instantly darkened. He shot Jungkook a look and then stood up slight ashamedly to tidy up the bowls and plates before him.

However, Seok Jin seemed to have forgotten about how injured his shoulder was. He had just lifted his left arm and picked the plates up when a sharp pain immediately seared, making his hand subconsciously let go.

The crisp sound of the ceramic shattering rang out and a beautiful plate had just announced its death.

Seok Jin immediately frowned to see the ceramic pieces that had shattered all over the floor. He squatted down and awkwardly started to clean it up, yet just as a finger touched the sharp ceramic shard, he felt a sting and before he could react, a drop of blood had dripped down his finger.

"How foolish!"

A soft scolding was heard followed by a whiff of fragrant air and in the next instant, a huge hand had already wrapped his cut finger with a clean towel. Then, Jungkook lifted Seok Jin up by the waist and walked towards the sofa.

"Tighten your grip on it. I'll go get the first aid kit."

Jungkook made Seok Jin sat down on the sofa and then dug out a first aid kit from the drawer of the coffee table. Swiftly, he took a bottle of medicine out to stop the bleeding and a waterproof plaster. Then, he very promptly treated Seok Jin's wound.
