George POV
As we finished up our game of Uno, Dream's mom was yelling up the stairs, "Dinner is ready!" We quickly cleaned up the game and made our way down the stairs. The smell of food made me realize just how hungry I was, I had been so distracted by Dream I hadn't even noticed.
Dream's mom brought out plates with food on them to the neatly set table as Dream and I sat down. There were many seats scattered around the table, deciding to just sit next to Dream. I watched a few of Dream's siblings come and sit down at the table as well and figured after the third child that that was it, but boy was I wrong.
They just kept running into the room and soon enough there were 10 people seated at the table. I looked around the table in slight shock, realizing Dream wasn't exaggerating previously when saying he had a big family.
After I scanned everyone's faces my eyes landed on Dream and I stared unnecessarily long. Well, it was necessary in my opinion but compared to everyone else it definitely was extra.
Dream was watching my reaction, just waiting for me to speak. The silence was eventually broken by his dad trying to start a conversation, "So, who is this?"
"This is George, he's my uh friend." I just looked at Dream while nodding my head in agreement. I could feel everyone's eyes on me, it wasn't my favorite thing but they all seemed very nice.
"You weren't kidding when you said you had a big family," I spoke softly, mostly to Dream.
Dream just smiled and shook his head at me, "Nope."
I looked around the table once again as Dream began speaking, "I guess I should probably introduce them," he pointed to one of his siblings who looked slightly older than us, "That's my older sister, Macy, she is 17." He then pointed to another sibling "That's Alex, they're 15." He continued on, pointing to each sibling, "That's Drista, she's 14. Hayden is like 11 maybe or... 13? 12? I don't really know."
Hayden interrupted before Dream could continue, glaring at Dream in the process, "I'm 12! How do you forget my age?"
Dream just shrugged in response, "Allie is 11 I think and Carter is 7? No- he's 9 'cause he's 2 years younger than Allie. Anddddd that's all of them," he spoke, dragging out the 'd'.
I smiled a little bit, slightly overwhelmed, "I don't think I'm going to remember all those names."
"Don't worry, Sapnap forgets them all the time," Dream reassured.
The rest of dinner was mostly spent chatting about everyone's day and eating. By the time Dream and I were done eating, most of his siblings had already left to go do their own thing.
We spent a few hours playing more boardgames together before I finally settled down on the floor with blankets wrapped around me. The blankets smelled like Dream, I didn't want to ever have to leave them. It was like a nice warm cocoon. I looked up at Dream who was laying on his bed and his eyes were already on me. He just kept staring at me, probably zoned out like always.
It didn't take him long to realize he was staring, quickly looking away. "Uh, goodnight?"
I smiled a little bit, still staring at Dream. "Yeah, goodnight," I responded before turning to face the other direction in an attempt to hide the slowly growing blush on my face with every thought of Dream that popped into my head.
The smell of Dream surrounded me, comforting me as I drifted off to sleep.
