he didn't want to kill you, he only wanted to live, so if a life or two had to be taken, then he'd be willing to make a sacrifice
natasha held you behind her as an attempt to keep you safe from him, incase he'd jump out of an hiding spot and tried anything
she already knew it wasn't going to be him who left this building tonight, not after that stunt
between you and her? she'd pick you in a heartbeat, it is her duty to protect her friend, and if it meant dying for you, she'd gladly take that
she held a tool in her hand, she was known for being a healer, but she had a destructive side to her aswell, if sampo wasn't willing to cooperate? she's not gonna cry about forcing him
finally finding him hiding in a bush, she strikes, the large tool in her hand made good use in pinning him to the ground by his neck, forcing him to make eye contact with her
just as quickly as she looked in his eyes, she looked to you, transferring the role even as you panicked, trying to get her to look at you
she refused, and even made sure that sampo was unable to look at you, she made her decision already, saying her goodbyes to you
you walked out of that building while shaking, you cannot deny the anger in your chest from sampo's betrayal, and the sadness from natasha's sacrifice, the two different kinds of emotional pain caused your heart to ache painfully as you stumbled your way into a distant building, unknowing of the pair of eyes laid on you from afar...
