arlan is stuck listening to her rants and cries about her love for you, i mean, practically the whole space station knows at this point, and everybody is sick of it, because obviously you like her back! you won't even listen to your boss when they tell you to do some random job, but if asta mentions something that needs to be done, you immediately pick up the job and smile happily as she praises you for a job well done
but who would've thought it was herta herself who had to knock some sense into the two of you? of course she knew both sides, it's impossible to not overhear one talking about the other, and right now as she assisted the both of you to a job she was so annoyed as she heard mumbled words of insecurity about potentially messing up in front of you, while you were looking embarrassed at the thought of being paired up and so close to your crush
"would you two get it over with already?! the entire space station knows how head over heals you are for each other, except for the both of you!"
both you and asta froze as herta crossed her arms "what? somebody had to say it" herta then handed you both some research papers for whatever job you were doing and left the room but not without saying one last thing
"don't make out in my office" asta was blushing terribly as she looked away from you, you eventually swallowed your awkward feelings and went closer to her, no words were exchanged as you grabbed her hand and she gasped, looking up at you and blushing, she looked away again and found some courage to give you a quick kiss on your lips, smiling cheekily and then running out the door as fast as she could

yanqing is half shy and half confident, he'll get away with flirting with you until you start flirting back, and thats when he becomes a flustered mess, when he first asked you out he was expecting to get rejected, imagine his shock when you actually go on a date with him? it takes everything in him to not explode out of happiness
but theres a problem...jingyuan has forbid you two from kissing! yanqing thinks it's unfair, not even a innocent little peck? jingyuan just wants to make sure he doesn't regret giving his first kiss to you, because the both of you are young, he really expects the relationship to last two weeks at most, and doesn't want yanqing to be hurt over it, even as the relationship is a month old he still won't let you kiss, he's a protective dad okay? maybe he's a little scared of yanqing growing up too soon aswell, can you blame him?
despite yanqing's distaste of not being able to kiss his partner, he actually doesn't mind that much, there's so many other things you can do! hugging is his personal favorite, but mostly in private, he gets too shy with pda, but after a whole five months of dating, jingyuan observes the two of you, he really didn't think that a relationship at this age would last that long
so he decides to sit yanqing down and tell him his worries and his thoughts of the relationship, even though yanqing gets a little embarrassed about it, jingyuan is slow about it and makes sure yanqing knows he can decide what he wants to do, he's just giving him advice and letting him know he just doesn't want yanqing to regret anything
yanqing ends up overthinking for the next week, everytime the two of you are close, he's thinking, should i kiss them? do they even want to be kissed? jingyuan told him to make sure both him and his partner were comfortable with it, it wasn't until two weeks after the talk that yanqing overcame his thoughts and talked to you about it
he even prepared a special little picnic for you, taking your hands and asking you if you were alright with him kissing you, as you nodded and smiled he blushed and prepared himself, being nervous that maybe you'd be disappointed with the kiss, but everything washed away as he finally planted his lips on yours, it was a sweet and soft kiss, neither of you knew what you were doing, but you didn't mind, giggling as you separated, yanqing couldn't be happier that he's with you
