Pip looked frantically about. The note had shook him. He checked his office to see if anything was amiss. Nothing. All was as he left it last time he was there. Just the strange note left him lingering.

Pip decided to take the note to the Bank's front office clerk. He was the one who received the mail from the post and handed it out to the respective recipients. Upon asking, the clerk merely stated, "The postman just said that the note was for you."

"Surely a mistake?"

"Possible somewhere on his end, but he positively told me to give it to you."

"Quite strange." Pip stated. The clerk then informed, "Also, a new client stopped in, wishing to open an account. He wants to do it with you as he had heard how you excellently organize finances. He will be back soon."

"Alright. I'll wait in my office." Pip returned to his space. In the meantime of waiting, he pondered over that note. It surely had to be a mistake.

"Mr. Pip." A voice asked, coming in the office. It was a middle aged man with dark hair showing a touches of age. His eyes were a striking gray, like that of a wolf. He came and sat in the chair on the other side of the desk.

"How do you do Mr.-?"

"Matthews." Matthews shook Pip's hand. He went straight to business, "I came to open an account on accord of my master. He has quite the savings and needs it carefully put away, hence he has asked me to speak to you."

"Alright, very well. Let us see the paperwork." Pip was ready. Matthews grabbed a folder of neatly organized bank papers. Pip looked at the information and nodded, "Well, I do see. This is a savings of nearly 12 million pounds. No wonder such precautions are to be taken. Your master's money shall be safe in this bank."

"Excellent."

"Now this account of your master shall have the name of-?" Pip grabbed a pen to write in the man's name. Matthews stated in a most plain of voice:

"Phillip Pirrip-Gargery."
