Chapter 9

Gwen's Pov

Breakfast was amazing. Ben and Sage kept arguing through eye contact about him having fun ideas.

But at least their bickering ended. I had pancakes with strawberries and hash browns.

They were absolutely delicious. The best batch I ever had! We also found out that the Cafe was right in front of a beach! So we decided to go.

It was beautiful. The water was literally crystal clear! Sage wore a two piece bikini. It covered vital areas and didn't show too much of the area around it. The color was dark lavender.

Kevin wore his black trunks, Ben wore green, and Rook wore red. Grandpa had left to go buy some groceries.

"Yeah! Score!" Ben yelled pumping his fists in the air. Sage pouted crossing her arms. Rook sighed.

"Sage come tan with me!" I yelled out to her. "Tan?" She asked confused. Ben and Kevin laughed. I rolled my eyes at them.

"Tanning is where you lay in the sun and your sking becomes darker. But not so fast!"

Sage walked over and sat next to me and we tanned. Relaxing and talking about magic. It was fun. Then we all went inside to the Rust Bucket.

"That was really nice." Sage put her tank top over her bathing suit along with her shorts. I caught sight of Ben looking at her. His smiled soft. Kevin caught it to.

"Ready kids?"

"READY!"

Ben's Pov

Sage put her hair up and a messy bun and let me say. She loomed beautiful as ever. Her hair was just gorgeous. Like a goddess. I watched her from the bunk bed. Talking with Kevin.

"Dude are you even listening?"

Kevin waved his hand in my face snapping me out of the trance.

"Hm?"

I turned my attention back to Kevin. Hoping he thought I was just zoning out.

"Yea?"

"You were staring at her weren't you?"

He crossed her arms.

"Ah pft. What? Naw."

I crossed my arms

"What makes you say that?"

I chuckled nervously knowing well I was caught. Kevin sighed and sat next to me.

"I'm dating your cousin. I know when you gave a crush. Now. Tell me do you have a crush?"

He put an arm around my shoudler and chuckled. I nodded in defeat.

"It was already obvious."

He said and chuckled. Then went over to Gwen and Sage. As he sat down her kissed Gwen's cheek. EW!!

Sage left the table to let them have their moment. Sitting down next to me. I couldn't help but feel butterflies in my stomach. But I felt warmth as well. Having Sage near me gives me that boost of confidence that I needed.

"Well that ruined our conversation."

She sighed and fell back onto the bed. And sighed as she looked up. I laid next to her and placed a hand over my stomach and then let it fall.

"What was it about?"

"We were talking about seeing a movie. Like those care movie things. I don't know what their called but you watch a movie in a parking lot with other people and there is a huge sceeen-"

"I know what your talking about."

He chuckled. He looked at her just as she smiled at him. He could feel his face blush staring into her eyes. Her beautiful brown eyes.

"So we were planning it and Kevin came in and ruined it."

She sighed.

"Well...maybe we can have our own movie night?"

I wanted to try to make her desire come true. So he wanted to make her happy.

"We can?"

"Yup."

I knew Kevin was going to say something but what he said next made me want to drop dead.

"So it's a date? Ooooooo."
