"This hospital food sucks ass!" Avory laughs, pushing her plate away with a look of disgust.
"True," I admit, coping her.
It's been three days since the shooting and Ms. Burks arrest. Avory is doing fine. We all are really.
"This place has so many bad memories," Brian says, looking around the room.
"Literally same," Danni chuckles, sitting on Avory's bed.
We were currently in the hospital that Brian was in less than a month ago. Avory is being releashed today and we are waiting for the final test results.
"I can't believe graduation is in two months," I add, relising how long this whole deal has been going on.
"Prom! OMG!" Danni claps excitedly, shaking her sisters arms.
"Ouch!" Avory slaps her away.
"Are you going to take me?" Avory asks, poking Brian's sides playfully.
"I don't know. Am I? I mean, there's this girl in math-, he trails off, a smirk on his face.
"Shut up!" She laughs.

"Dad, where are we going?" I ask, turning the music down.
"Just hold your horses, we're almost there," he raises his eyebrows, turning a corner.
Another three minutes and the car rolls into a cemetery, gravestones up everywhere.
"Dad what are we doing here?" I ask, eyes taking in every stone.
"Here," he says, stopping the car and getting out.
I follow behind him, walking to a stone that physically makes me break down.
"I've been coming here since the fire," he admits, kneeling down beside me.
A tear flows down my cheek as I run !y fingers over my mothers name.
"Dad," I whisper.
He rubs my back before handing me a rose.
I stay quiet for a moment. I have lived my life without a mother and father and never got the chance to say goodbye. Now I can.
I place the flower on the ground where she R.I.P.
"Goodbye," I weakly smile, wiping tears from my cheek.
