CHAPTER 4 (Day Out)

DEVASTUTI'S POV

Somehow they both convinced me to come with them for shopping and watch a movie.

So,we three got ready and left the house at 2:30pm. I was kinda relieved that everyone had gone to work and had a party to attend in which I was not allowed since dadi said so, which means they all are not gonna return before 10pm.

Firstly, we went to Diamond mall which was 30 mins from home. Chitra and Chinu both were busy buying clothes.

While I was just strolling around on kurti caught my attention. It was very pretty, I was about to buy but remembered that I don't have money to buy.

I mean ofc I have money but it's Prathamadithya's, not mine.

I was about to hang it back when Chitra suddenly came from behind and held my hand and said," Wow bhabhi it soo pretty, it will look very good on you. Should I buy it for you?"

"No, chitra I don't want it, I already have many clothes with me and also it's expensive" I said with a gentle smile on my face, but inside I wanted it soo badly.

"No,bhabhi, you rarely buy anything for yourself so, I am gonna buy it for you. A small gift from me." I looked at her with a esctatic feeling, I don't know why but slight tears started to appear at the corner of my eyes.

I immediately hugged her muttering a thank you which was audible to her.

"Please don't say thanks bhabhi, this is nothing compared to what you do for all of us" chinu said showing her presence.

Chitra headed towards the bill counter while me and chinu were waiting for her.

PRATHAMADITHYA'S POV

I reached my office by 9 and headed towards my cabin which is on the 18th floor after greeting my staff.

It takes forty minutes to reach my office from home but before reaching my work place i visited my favourite shop which opens up at early morning 4am.

I have visited the shop n number times that now the shop owner is my friend.

I greeted him good morning and ordered for a tea and a plate of idli and sambar.

While eating i thought about how my life is and decided to improve my relationship with my wife.

"Thanks uncle, as usual it was lip smacking delicious" I said and uncle delighted.

After i finished eating, i headed towards my office.

I was going through the important files when my cabin door opened, looking up I saw my secretary/P.A coming in with a smile on his lips and two cups of coffee in his hand.

"Good morning sir, here your coffee" Yashwardhan my assistant wished and passed me one of the coffee cup.

"Good morning dear Yash" I wished him back.

"Here is your schedule for today sir. You have lunch meet at 2 with Mr.Raghuvanshi and a dinner party to attend with your family which I know you are aware of" he stated.

"Alright Yash, thank you so much" I thanked and expected him to get back to work. Instead he was standing there looking at me with a scrutinizing gaze while drinking coffee.

I looked up in his direction and lifted up my left eyebrow and shaking my head a little indicating him to speak.

"Spill it out you dumbass, I know you are thinking something deeply" I looked at him in astonishment when he called me dumbass and how does know that I thinking something.
