PRATHAMADITHYA'S P.O.V
I woke up with the sound of my alarm reaching my ears. Searching for my phone on the table beside me, I checked the time it was 4:00 am.
I looked to my left and saw Devastuti was in deep slumber. After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I went out for my morning exercise.
By the time I returned the time was 5:10 am. I decided to go to the office early today as I didn't want to meet Devastuti.
So, immediately I moved towards the washroom, freshened myself up. Knowing that she wakes up at 6:00 every day.
Spending 30 mins in the shower, I got ready and took one apple, and marched toward my car, heading to my office.
Yes, I know that I did wrong by not informing her, but I just want her to stay out of my way.
I don't know why my family got me married to her. Everybody knew that I wanted a well-educated modern girl who can manage both work and home. Unlike her who just completed her school and can't even correctly do one thing.
It's been 8 months since our marriage and all I know is her name. I was not even interested in knowing anything about her but now i have started to like her irrespective of her education. I love how she takes care of my family and mostly importantly my parents.
Initially i thought after the completion of two years of our marriage, I will just divorce her but somewhere in my heart I want to mend my relationship with her. I am not even angry with her but mainly with her family who just stopped her education and got her married.
It's her right to complete her education and achieve her goal. Not being some households daughter in law and working as a maid 24x7.
She should have at least fought with her parents to let her complete her graduation. Instead, she wanted to get married and become someone's wife. Well, that's what my Dadi told me. Now she is just enjoying these riches.
I stopped thinking about her and drew my attention to driving.
Did I introduce myself? Well, I am Prathamadithya Shekhawat, the youngest son of the Shekhawat family. I have taken over the Blue Empire which my grandfather built with hard work and dedication. There is a lot of stress and tension and I wanted someone to share my problems with, but as you know my wife who just passed 12th doesn't know anything about business neither I expect her to but I want to share.
My mother Adweta Aryaman Shekhawat is an excellent businesswoman and housewife, my father is Aryaman Rajdeep Shekhawat who is an ex-army officer and an amazing family man.
Even after more than 25 years of marriage, they both are still so in love. Anirudh is the best friend of all of us brothers, living next to us with his father Ekansh uncle, his mother Yachana aunty and his wife Vanya.
All my three brothers had an arranged marriage and are happily married. Whereas I wasn't even asked if I wanted to get married or not.
I sometimes envy my brothers and fathers that they all have a life partner with whom they can discuss and share their work problems.
All my sisters-in-law and mothers are famous and successful businesswomen and it makes me so blissful and proud.
I still have faith that one day my relationship with Devastuti will improve. How wonderful it would be if I and Devastuti are like my parents. I believe it will HAPPEN.
