Chapter 15

"Chiara! Chiara calm down!" Orb yelled in alarm.

"Let go! Let them go!" Blu grunted trying to pull the fairy in question away from the two ultras she was wrangling.

"I didn't say anything to anybody else except for the new generation guys! It was Zett who told Ace who then told Taro wh-" Grigio yelped when she stumbled down after Chiara finally released her and continued holding on to Zett.

The reason for her sudden rampage was the conversation she heard while walking down the Colosseum halls. Let's just say that the misunderstanding of her and Zero's relationship didn't end with Hikari.

"This is what happens when you spend too much time with Zero!" Geed gulped referring to how Chiara had Zett in a choke hold. But at the mention of the blue and red ultra, Chiara halted. Zett took it as a chance to slip out of her hold and hid (hopefully) safely behind Victory and Ginga. Chiara covered her flushed face with her hands and let out a string of incoherent mumbling.

"I'm ultra sorry Chiara...I only told Brother Ace about it I swear. I didn't think he would tell anybody else and it would escalate this far." Zett apologised while peeking his head out from behind Victory. After a few moments Chiara let her hands down and saw Zett looking genuinely guilty.

"It can't be helped now. I know you didn't mean for this to happen but you two should've gotten the facts right before jumping to conclusions." Chiara said almost scoldingly.

"And even if, even if, it's true, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want my personal life aired to the world. Boundaries exist for a reason ya know." She added.

"You're right Chiara...we're sorry..." Grigio said remorsefully. Grigio and Zett looking sad and guilty then made Chiara feel guilty. She couldn't stay made at them forever.

"It's alright. I'm sorry too...I shouldn't have rampaged on you like that. It's just that the situation is similar to what I experienced in Alfea." Chiara admitted.

"Similar how?" Rosso asked.

"When I was a student in Alfea there was this guy at Red Fountain who was really popular at the time. One day we coincidentally sat beside each other during a concert and someone took a picture of us. It was something so simple yet people thought we were dating and that we were a good match and stuff like that. Some girls in Alfea hated me for it because they were his fangirls. But I hardly even knew the guy. It got to the point where the Headmistress and Headmaster of Alfea and Red Fountain got involved. Thankfully things worked out for me and that guy in the end. We didn't end up dating or anything but he was nice. The entire situation disturbed him too. I don't know if he knows or not but Zero's got his own group of admirers too so the rumour going around about Zero and I kinda freaked me out." By the end of her recount Rosso and Blu glanced at each other and then at Grigio. With a serious look in his eyes Rosso asked her,

"Asahi, is there anybody bullying in school?"

"What? Of course there isn't. I'm the one that drives the bullies away!"

"Good. If there is then they have to answer to us." Blu stated.

"Katsumi! Isami!"

"And be careful with boys too."

"Guys!"

Chiara smiled longingly witnessing their sibling antics. It reminded her of a past she dearly missed.

"Chiara, we're sorry if our teasing made you uncomfortable. We just thought you really did like him." Geed said.

"It's okay. Unlike in Alfea I didn't feel bothered or uncomfortable. It just felt really embarrassing. And..." she trailed off to think.
