Magix Ultra

Chapter 5

Chiara was on her way to meet Mother of Ultra for a medical check up when she ran into Grigio, Z , Rosso, Blu, Ginga and Geed. She checked the time and figured she had time for a chat. As she got closer she could hear bits and pieces of whatever they were talking about.

"No way, you're kidding right."

"Am not! Z was there too!"

"She's ultra right! We were ultra shocked when we came in."

"Maybe they're on to something. Back when Chiara was in a coma the one who visited her most was-"

Then Chiara decided to pop up at that moment." Hey guys what's up" the way they looked at her like deer caught in headlights made her feel that something was off. Just what they were talking about? Out of nowhere Grigio threw her arms around her in tight huge.

"Grigio wha-"

"Chiara I'm so happy for you!" Grigio exclaimed.

"Happpy? What happened? What'd I do?" Chiara asked in confusion. She tried thinking back to the past few days and everything was relatively normal. She couldn't really figure out what Grigio was saying.

"We heard from Grigio and Z. Who would've thought huh." Ginga came up and playfully patted her shoulder. Now she was getting more confused.

"We never really expected it but looking back he was always gentler with you." Blu commented.

"Wha-"

"And when you were in a coma he visited you the most and stayed for a while" Rosso added.

"What're yo-"

"But it all make sense now that you and Zero are dating!" To say that she was mortified was an understatement. She literally froze on the spot before letting out a resounding,

"WAIT WHAT?!?!?!"

Zero was walking down the large hall mantle and all when he bumped into Mebius. 

"Yo Mebius, where're you runnin' off to?"

"I'm delivering some books for Hikari. It seems that there is some information that isn't available within the digital archives. So he thought there might be something in books that the digital archives missed." the youngest ultra brother explained. True to his word he was carrying a stack of books in his hands.

Zero wondered what the scientist was researching but it's not like it was any of his business. Besides, science wasn't really his thing anyway. Before Mebius excused himself, he remembered his earlier conversation with Taro.

"By the way Zero, congratulations. It's good that you found somebody." 

"Huh? What'd ya mean?"

"I heard that you and ultrawoman Chiara are dating." Mebius answered. That left Zero stunned. 

"We're dat- Where'd you hear that?!"

"I heard it from Instructor Taro who heard it from Ace who heard it from Zett who said he and Grigio walked in on you two....ehem." the youngest ultra brother coughed into his fist and looked away awkwardly as his other hand was balancing the stack of books.

Zero started clenching his fist as he growled "ZEEETTTT!!!!"

In Marie's office Chiara seemed to be having an internal crisis. Thankfully she was able to clear up the misunderstanding before it got out of hand (Oh if only she knew it was too late).
