I was able to make Jungkook look a little more presentable than before.
He told me to get back to my seat and that he would follow right after. It made sense that he didn't want us coming back together, it would grow suspicions. It's too early for those. Especially since not even we knew exactly what we felt or what we were.
Until now, we were sure that we would be growing a friendship—not whatever this is.
We're already at the semi-final.
Max is back up there with another guy who I heard goes by the name 'Lee'. He was maybe a few years older than Max. It made sense that the last few contestants were all younger. They were stronger and overall had better stamina then those who have been doing this for longer and have grown older. It scared me a bit that Jungkook had to go against Max. I don't need to see the end of this fight to know how it's gonna end. Max is ruthless and doesn't care about how bad he's hurting or has to hurt his opponent. Jungkook is the complete opposite, he shows remorse and he knows how far to take it, he knows when to stop.
Both have different ways of winning. Even if I have a feeling Jungkook has more power in him than he shows. He just has a big heart.
This might sound wrong but I hope he doesn't hold back with Max. Especially since he's been looking at me like he's ready to eat me. The stupid smirk never leaving his nasty face every time we meet eyes.
I look away from the fight to find Jungkook who's listening to my dad. I'm guessing they also know Jungkook is gonna have to fight Max by the way they are looking at him. It's kinda obvious that they're talking about how to beat him.
There's a glimpse of fear in Jungkooks eyes after Max sends four punches into Lee.
Each coming from a different direction. The whole crowd gasps as Lee almost falls backwards before catching himself on the ropes.
He has to get out of there before he gets trapped there, especially since he's right at the corner.
Max already making his way to him and I know this round is over the second he punches him, an upper cut to be descriptive.
Everyone knew he was gonna win, no doubt about it.
Now I just need Jungkook to win.Of course there's a 10 minute break for Max since he just fought, but to be fair, there's nothing more than a few open cuts and bruises on his face and body. Nothing close to how he's left his opponents.
Something else that scared me.
Jungkook had already been hurt bad.
I know that if he was in the right mindset that first fight he would have been fine. It would have been easy. And, yeah, maybe it's my fault.
But this time he's gonna be alright. I just need him to stay strong. We've already watched many fights, he's already had two others and he did just fine in those, so who says he won't do good this time too.
I watched as the 10 minutes ran out and they were both on their way to the ring.
My dad was able to wrap Jungkooks waste, hopefully giving him some kind of support.
The announcer spoke with so much excitement that it was almost annoying.
"Folks! Today we will witness the best fight of the century between two of our best. Max Versus Jungkook. Give it up for our fighters!"
Jungkooks eyes met mine and I clapped only to encourage him.
"You can do it" I whispered to myself but made sure it would be easy for him to read my lips. He sent me a nod and a small smile, one that made Max turn to look at me as well. He smirked probably noticing something between Jungkook and I.
