I absolutely take up on Jungkook wanting to show me around. I mean I don't have anything better to do. Why not spend the first day of my completely not suspicious new life with a tall, strong, and handsome guy—There was no denying it.
"Jungkook" he lifted the right strap of his backpack onto his shoulder for more support.
"Yeah" he walked slightly behind me so I had to turn my head. He was already looking at me when our eyes met.
"How old are you?" I slowed down a little so we could walked side by side and you know? Have a normal conversation.
"Twenty-three" his answer took me back. I had a feeling he was older than me, but not that much older.
"Holy shit" he chuckled.
"What?"
"I didn't expect you to be that old" his eyebrows knitted together and his noise scrunched up.
Almost like he was offended."How old are you" there was something else in his voice but I couldn't quite place it.
"Eighteen"
"Holy shit" he mimicked me, real surprise behind his voice though.
I laughed before micmiking him as well.
"What?" My noise scrunching as well."I didn't expect you to be so young" he fixed the strap again. "What is that...like a-"
" five year age gap" I finished his sentence, letting it sink in as well. "You don't look twenty-three".
"That's because you haven't seen all of me" he winked at me, shortly after allowing himself to walk in front of me.
I felt my cheeks flush, the heat running through my body. There was something about him that made me feel different.
I didn't realize he stopped walking until his arm was placed in front of my waist, stopping me from continuing my steps. I looked up finally noticing a building. As well as the door I was about to run into if it was for the arm holding me back.
I looked up at him. He wasn't looking at me but I could tell the smug grin on his lips was meant for me.
His arm moved away to open the door.
"Where are we?" I followed him into the building, stairs being right in front of us, begging to be used.
"You'll see" he moved aside holding the door open, allowing me to walk in first.
He had been showing me around the town, showing different stores but I guess this was the original destination.
There were plants and tools everywhere.
"You wanted to fix the garden right?" He was standing next to me, looking down at me.
"Today?" My eyes widened making their way to his. He grinned.
"Your dad won't be home right now so, yeah." He takes my wrist leading me deeper into the store.
"Do you even know what you're doing?" I don't either of us have every started or taken care of a Garden.
"Cant be that hard" he shrugged before he proceeded to circle around the store picking up everything we needed for about an hour.
——
He had told me about this opening in the backyard. He had told me he had found it a while back and didn't think it would come in handy until now.We headed towards the big glass garden house, or whatever it is, with our four bags full of seeds plants and tools.
We tried getting plants we both liked and that we thought would be significant to us.
