2 days later-

I spent the past few days doing the same routine. Waking up, sleeping, eating, hearing men downstairs.

I hadn't contacted Jungkook and neither had he. Even though I knew he came to the house everyday to practice for his match.

The match that I had overheard about.
The same match that is set for today.

I woke up early today, I tried going back to sleep but after a lot of twisting and turning I ended up just getting up and taking a shower.

I know he's here right now.

I don't like leaving my room when I know they're here. Usually i'll wake up around an hour before they leave and by the time I'm done getting myself ready for the day, they're already gone. Sometimes Daehyun and Chunghee stay a little after their practices and I'll occasionally run into them while on my way to make myself breakfast.

Today, though, I woke up two hours earlier. After my shower I contemplated wheather or not I wanted to risk bumping into anyone downstairs—bumping into him—he had told me to stay away.

Even though I hadn't tried texting him again, I did still find more information out about him.

I might have stayed up at some point looking for his Instagram.

And I did find it, but it was private so I couldn't even check if he had post or anything. He followed around 10 people and had a little over 400 followers. Well with his profile picture who wouldn't want to follow him.

It was a mirror pic. It was obvious he had taken it right after a shower. The lights were dimmed low and there was fog on the mirror, what I could make out of the picture were abs and black hair. The fog made it hard to see but with some screenshooting and zooming in—it's not weird—I was able to confirm that, yup, those were abs.

I would be lying if I said I didn't stare at the picture for about 20 minutes before finally deciding to go to sleep.

I mentally kept his username in my mind just in case I wanted to go back some day.

I didn't end up risking it.

I stayed in my room until I was sure everyone was gone. Or almost everyone.

Now I could finally go have breakfast.

-

"Y/n" my dad came into the kitchen right as I was plating everything.

"Yeah" I made no attempt to look up at him.

"Just letting you know, I'm going out at around eight." He came closer into the kitchen.

"Alright" I mentally noted the time already knowing where he was going. I didn't have an address yet but I would soon. "What time would you be back?" I tried to seem more into the conversation hoping I can get something else out of him.

"Maybe ten, eleven." I nodded and let my body drop onto the stool by the counter.

"Okay" he sat down across from me. I can tell it was taking him a lot to start a normal conversation with me that didn't have to do with him going out.

"Have any plans today?" He fidgeted with his fingers.

You know you're a good liar when you can come up with one on the spot.

"I think I'm just gonna go walk around the town, there's still a lot I haven't seen." He nods his head.

"Good, good." He patted his pockets looking for keys or something. "I have to run some errands, you'll be ok here alone, right?"
