"Y/n, could you get us some more beers." I groan to myself. This is what I get for being hungry at 10 pm. All I wanted was food, not to get used as a maid.

Another voice was heard from the living room while I was already at the fridge trying to figure out how I was gonna carry 6 beer bottles with only two hands.

"I'll help" Jungkooks voice booming from behind me, almost as if he had read my mind.
It did scare me at first but then I felt relief.

At least one of them was enough of a gentleman to help me out.

"Thanks" I passed him three, careful that he would be able to carry them all. Patiently he waited until I grabbed my three as well.

"Why haven't you gone home yet" I spoke up before we could make our way to the living room.

"At first we just wanted to talk but then they put on a game so now we're watching it. But I'm not really into football." That's when I began to walk.

"Why don't you just leave?" He shrugged his shoulders.

"I like being with them...and you" I can't help but smile at that. He always has a way with his words.

"You have to rest as much as you can" he chuckles. Both of us quieting down as we get closer to the living room.

"I'm not thinking about that right now" he shoves me with his shoulder "only about our date tomorrow" my body reacts before I do.

Heart beating faster than ever.

"Oh, so it's a date huh?" I say in a teasing tone that makes him quietly laugh.

"I guess so" we both separate to give a bottle to each man sitting on the couch.

"Thank you hon" Chunghee says after I hand him a bottle.

"Mhm" I turn back around to make my way back to my room not wanting to disturb them anymore.

"You don't wanna stay? You and our Jungkookie seem to be close." I can't help but dart my eyes towards Jungkook. Even if Chunghee isn't wrong, I'm not sure this is something either of us want to talk about. Especially after seeing the way Jungkook eyes my dad.

"No I'm okay, thank you." Jungkooks eyes find mine right after.

"Ah, so you are close" my uncle says after not hearing me deny the allegation.

"Well..." they all look at Jungkook who awkwardly shifts in his spot "he's the only person around my age that I know or see around here" I say trying to clear any confusion or misunderstandings. It's also not a lie. Apart from the people at the club who I'll never see again expect maybe the bartender, Jungkook is the only person I know.

My dads silence being the scariest thing.

"How do you feel about that Joseong" my uncle speaks up again but this time towards my dad.

I swear my heart stops beating and by the look on Jungkooks face, so did his. He must be scared of losing his spot on the team if anything about him and I gets turned into something it's not.

My dad sucks in a deep breath before he's lifting up the beer bottle to his lips. The same one Jungkook gave him. He pulls it away after taking a quick sip.

"I think..." I'm so ready to run at any moment, and might as well take Jungkook with me. "It's good, at least I know he will make sure she's okay and safe." I breath I didn't know I was holding in gets let out and Jungkooks tight grip on his own beer bottle loosens.

"I agree, Jungkook is a good boy." My uncle says again while the rest of the men agree.

He sends me one of the warmest smiles any of them have ever gave me.
