I ran, I didn't know where I was going, I had no plan. The memory of Sebastian still lingered on my lips, I can't believe what just happened. My run turned into a fast walk, my mind racing, my eyes on the ground in front of me avoiding everyone I could.
Smack!
"Hey! Watch-" I started to snap before I realized who crashed into me. "Oh, Ominis...I'm so sorry..."
"It's quite alright." He chucked brushing off his robes. "Did you sign up for the choir already?"
"Oh yeah, I...I did. And I saw a sign-up sheet for cheerleading too." I tried to control my breath.
"Cheerleading? That's new." He raised his brow.
"Yeah! I figured since I'm not fighting anymore, I could still stay fit with some cheering." I laughed half-heartedly.
"Ama...are you okay? I may be blind but I can hear your breath shake when you speak." Ominis reached for my hand. I looked up into his clouded eyes, his beautiful face covered in a concerned expression. "Let's take a walk to the undercroft. We can talk there." He still had my hand in his grasp as we walked.
Once we had reached the familiar door, the open space was nostalgic. The pensive and triptych still stood in their place. Wonder if Ominis ever noticed.
The blonde boy turned to me.
"What happened?" He said softly, squeezing my hand slightly.
I took a moment to gather my words.
"S-Sebastian and I...kissed." I winced.
His face froze into one shocked expression. He knew we had been fighting, but the extent it had gotten was hidden.
"I-I don't know what to say. Are you okay? How do you feel about it?" His thumb traced calming circles on my hand idly.
"I don't know...part of me liked it. But then I thought about Garreth and felt so guilty. I can't hide this from him...I'm hiding so much as it is! What am I going to tell him?!" I freaked starting to sob.
He pulled me into a hug, he was cautious about it.
"That sounds like you might have a dilemma there. How exactly did you two get to that point?" He furrowed his brows.
"Well we were arguing again and it got really heated. I made a really good point...and something in him changed. He was no longer filled with anger and malice. It was guilt and pain. He began to cry and apologize. I told him I forgave him and we hugged it out as friends do. Then in a swift moment, he cupped my face and kissed me." Thank the Gods Ominis is blind, I could feel the heat in my cheeks.
He frowned, he was trying to figure out how an argument could have gone from heated to a kiss in just a moment.
"Wait, so he just kissed you randomly? Did he say anything before or after the kiss?" He shook his head, trying to figure out what Sebastian and I were thinking.
"Well, we both realized what happened and panicked! We both felt guilty and ashamed, mainly because we both have partners that deserve so much more." I started to cry more. "Ominis, this is so messed up! What am I going to do?" I sobbed.
He held me in a warm hug and stroked the back of my head beneath my bow.
"Shh, it's alright. You were confused and hurting. I think you should just tell Garreth the truth." Concern was written all over his voice.
