today is the day, today i finally released the album i was working on for almost a year, i'm throwing an album release party tonight so avani, sydney and i were getting ready

"is vinnie still wearing that cross necklace?" avani says and she curls her hair in the mirror

"yep" i say as i plan my outfit with sydney

"damn he really does love you then" avani chuckles
i blush a bit

"put some music on the vibes are so dry in here" sydney says as she connects her phone to the speakers in my room

so fresh , so clean by outkast starts playing

"ooooo" avani and i say

"ain't nobody dope as me, i'm just so fresh so clean" sydney sings out loud

i bop my head to the beat as i changed into my dress
"ooo vee you look so good, i'm obsessed with you" avani hyped me up

i smile and pose
"okay are we ready?" i say as i put my heels on
"yes mam" avani says putting perfume on

"i've been ready" sydney says as she touches up her makeup in the mirror

"alright let's go downstairs i think some people are already here" i say and open the door

vinnie and his friends were downstairs with some of my other friends, music was blasting and everything was decorated with black and white,the theme colors of my album

yo voy by zion and lennox started playing

i walked down the stairs which caught vinnies eye making him stand up and wait for me at the bottom of the stairs

"my god" he says and he reaches out for my hand

"you look so good" he says smiling and kissing the back of my hand

"thank you, you look good too" i say and smile, he pulls us closer together, my cheeks tired from smiling so much

he gives me a seductive kiss
"vinnie just eat her out at this point" sydney says as she goes down the stairs

i roll my eyes "let's go get something to drink" i say and hold his hand he nods and we both go the kitchen table which held a bunch of drinks

more people started to arrive which brought some relief since i was starting to get worried that nobody would show up,

"jeez vee how many people did you invite?" avani says as she walks up to vinnie and i who were standing there with shot glasses in our hands, ready to drink the burning liquor

"just some friends of mine" i shrug and take the shot which burned my throat "so your telling me that your friends with CELEBRITIES?" she yells out through the loud music

"avani...i'm a celebrity" i say and smile, i knew she was already tipsy, she wasn't so nonchalant like she always was, she was full of life

"ohhh...i knew that" she says as she slowly walked away with the drink in her hand, i look at vinnie who had the same confused expression that i had and just laughed

pretty boy by the neighborhood started playing
and i look at vinnie with wide eyes "you remember this song?!" i say excited

"oh my god" he says and blushes

"cmon let's go dance" i say and lead him to the dance floor, his hand wraps around my waist as my arms rest on his shoulders as we arrive at the dance floor

our body's swaying side to side to the soft slow music
and all of a sudden i get lost in his eyes, the music muffles in my ears and all i saw was him
