Chapter Eleven

                                             *DREAM*

You will always be a nobody. You’re a disgrace. Just look at you. No-one will ever come within a foot of you. You’re a disease.

Waste of time, worthless.

Useless and unworthy. 

Pathetic.

No-one could ever love a disgusting and ugly person like you. You’re rubbish, you hear. Nothing.

Disappear, we don’t want you here. 

Riley: - NO! you’re wrong, I know it have someone out there for me. Just you wait, you’ll see.

Who are you fooling? Just look at you, you will forever be the outcast.

                                         *PRESENT*

Riley: - Leave me alone! Shut up! Go away. I hate you. NO!

Justin: - BABE! BABE! Wake up, it’s just a dream. It’s just a dream. Hey, breathe, I’m right here.

You woke up to the face of a worried Justin looming over you. You whispered to yourself, over and over, it was just a dream. You close your eyes and take a deep breath counting to three, releasing the breath slowly.

Justin: - Talk to me. Are you alright? You were trashing around. What happened?

Each word laced with concern; his expression is one of a fish out of water. He cups your face soothing it with his thumb. Looking deeply into your eyes.

Riley: - I’m alright, it’s just another bad dream. I get them all the time, it’s no big deal.

Justin: - You want to share it with me? Maybe I can help. You never know. I’m not pushing you or anything, I’m just worried.

Riley: - No need to worry over me Justin, you got more important stuff to worry about. They’re just dreams they can’t hurt me. Besides I’ve been dealing with it alone without any help for a long time now, so I’m use to it.

Justin: - How can I not worry over you Riley? You’re my mate, my other half, I feel what you feel. I will worry for the slightest things that bothers you. I’m here and I’m not going anywhere, so when you’re ready to talk, I’m all yours ok.

Riley: - I’ll keep that in mind.

He kisses you sweetly on the forehead before exiting the bedroom. You quickly freshen up, throwing on a short black mini skirt with a red and black flannel and head downstairs for breakfast.

While making your way to the kitchen, you were greeted with smiling faces from pack members. Their alpha sitting at the kitchen island…... shirtless in all his manly glory. DAMN! He’s fine, just one taste is enough for your knees to turn jelly and looking at him is enough for your knees to go weak. When you approach him, he pulls you into his lap to get comfortable as he feeds you.

Justin: - Morning again to you beautiful.

Riley: - Morning. You know there’s something called a shirt right. Not that I mind.

Justin: - Are you jealous that some female might snatch me up?

He says with a teasing smirk on his face, voice very sexy, face very handsome, the rest of his body deserves a distinction. You can’t help but admire him and he’s all yours.

Justin: - Earth to babe. You’re drooling.

Riley: - Uhm…. Yeah, what is it?

Justin: - You’re drooling. Wait…. were you checking me out? I can give you the full display in our room if you want.

Riley: - Just shut up and eat your breakfast. Don’t let your head swell big.

Justin: - Hey, I have some meetings to attend to today. I’ll try and be back as soon as I can ok. Don’t leave the house. Not until we deal with our threat. 

Riley: - Take your time, I’ll be right here. And if something bad happens, I can always call Miles.

Later that evening, you decided to message Jamie to see what she’s been up to. It’s been a while you haven’t talk to her, so you are eager to hear what she has to say. She says that she has a boyfriend, but she would not tell you who he is or even describe him.

Riley: - Pretty pleeeeease, tell me who’s the lucky guy that stole my friend heart. We can even go on double dates together.

She doesn’t answer, instead a silence falls between you. She breaks that silence first by letting out an annoyed scuff.

Jamie: - He’s just a simple guy, nothing more. Why do you need to know so much? I don’t intrude on your private life. So, I suggest you respect my privacy.

Riley: - Why are you acting like this? We’re best friends. We tell each other everything. I never hid anything from you Jamie.

Jamie: - Yeah well, things change. You can stop acting like you care. I knew you never wanted me around to begin with.

Riley: - What’s that suppose to mean?

Jamie: - GOODBYE RILEY GRACE.
