Justin: - Ugh! Shit. My body hurts. What did I hit? A brick wall?

Riley: - How are you feeling?

"Your voice all teary, as you try fighting back the sobs. Seeing your mate all battered and bruised got you emotional."

Justin: - With you right here with me, I feel great.

Riley: - I thought I was going to lose you. I don’t want to ever feel like that again. You and this pack are the only real family I got.

Justin: - I will do whatever it takes to protect you, Riley
Grace. Even if it puts my life at risk. You have to understand babe, that trouble will always find us.

Riley: - I know, I’m just happy you’re here with me. Cause I don’t have any black to wear at your funeral.

"You gave him a smile; he props himself up on his elbows and kisses you."

Lacey: - Hello Luna Grace. Alpha, how are you feeling today?

Justin: - Great, a little sore but great.

Lacey: - Well I have better news; you’re being discharged today. You’ve shown a significant sign of improvement, so you’re free to go.

Justin: - Doc, how long was I out?

Lacey: - A couple of days, you were in good hands though. Your mate never left your side. She took good care of you.

"Your heart does some laps on hearing the good news. He turns to face you. His face showing pride, joy, everything beautiful under the sun."

Justin: - Thank you, doctor.

Lacey: - You’re welcome.

"She smiles leaving you both alone to have a moment."

Riley: - So, my big bad wolf are you ready to go home?

Justin: - Babe, I’ve been ready the moment I woke up and recognized that I’m in the hospital.

"You swat him on the arm playfully. Thanks to his wolf genes most of his injuries are already healed."

Riley: - Lets go home and get you settled in.

"The drive back to the pack house was so exciting, that you talked about future possibilities. You can’t believe you found someone who truly loves you for you. Someone who doesn’t care about your looks, shape, size. Damn not even your faults. You were greeted with love and warm welcomes from the members of the pack, excited to see their alpha and Luna return. Later that evening, Justin told you that he has a surprise for you and to wear your boots."

Riley: - Are we going hiking?

Justin: - Nope.

Riley: - Hunting?

Justin: - Nope.

Riley: - So, you’re not going to give me hint?

Justin: - Absolutely not.

Riley: - Oh please babe, tell me.

Justin: - It’s a surprise. Be patient.

"He blind folds you and takes your hand leading out to his van. He drives along a dirt road that goes further into the forest, little bumps here and there. Excitement causes the butterflies in your stomach to run wild. He drives for a while before the vehicle comes to a stop. He gets out and comes to your side opening your door to help you out. You walk for about a minute or two until you stop walking."

Justin: - Are you ready for your surprise? Think you can handle it?

Riley: - Yes! The suspense is killing me. Hurry up and take off the blind fold.

"You’re jumping up and down, excitement clear in your voice."

Justin: - Well baby, take the blind fold off.

Riley: - OH! SHIT!
