I snapped out of my trance and spat . "Tha hell ya doin in my truck"
"Please I'm sorry I had to run. He let guys hurt me please" she pleaded. "How old are u" I asked her.
Almost 18" she replied. I looked into her emerald eyes and decided right there she was mine. I loved her from the moment I met her.
"Get down" she ducked I grabbed a tarp out the cab and threw it on her. She stayed down till we reached my cabin. I stoped and removed the tarp to find her asleep.
I debated about touching her but it was about to rain so I slowly grabbed her and took her inside. I called out of work and put her on my bed.
After about 12 hours of checking on her and making sure she was ok she finally woke up.

I just contemplated what she said. I remembered a girl goin missing couple years back "are you Lita Dumas?" I asked
She nodded . I should call the police but it's up to her " Do ya wanna call the cops ?" I asked

Before I could stop myself I reached up and wiped her tears shushing her. "It's ok u can crash here I ain't gunna touch u. " I said
I removed my hand from her face and said sorry

Lita stayed withe for the next 7 months till one day we were cooking . I'd never touched he physically not even a hug I knew she wouldn't want it. She was chopping vegetables I was seasoning meat when she suddenly turned and ran straight into me. We looked at each other
Before I knew it she leaned in and kissed me. I hesitated and she backed off "I'm sorry" she ran to her room and locked the door.

I snapped out of my trance hearing her door shut and lock
I ran to her room grabbing the key and unlocking it. I slowly walked in and saw her on her bed with tears.

It was another 3 months before we made love for the first time. And 2 months after that I proposed. She didn't want to wait so we grabbed merle and went to the courthouse that night. The world ended 3 weeks later.
