The next morning we woke up and decided to join the others. Me and Lita walked hand n hand into the entry to see Rick making a plan.

"We're going to find the infirmary cafeteria and wardens office"

Me Lita hershal Maggie and glen all loaded up and got weapons from the armory apparently t dog found and set off. We cleared hall after hall until we heard a scream behind us. Hershal was pinned down with a walker eating his calf. I grabbed him and we sped off till we saw the cafeteria.

We busted the doors then re barred them . Rick decided to just chop off hershals leg so he did. Hershal was bleeding but I noticed something behind Lita and Maggie . It was men . 6 prisoners I cought Lita eyes and mouthed duck. She grabbed Maggie and they both dove to the ground .

"We gotta go " Rick screamed

One of the prisoners looked so familiar but I just couldn't place him. Everyone else loaded hershal onto a gurney and we all took off. The prisoners followed so I kept them at bay in the entrance till hershal was handled.

After 2 hours Rick returned and saw the prisoners there . One was a cocy ass Mexican , 2 black guys, 2 white one with a huge scar on both sides of his mouth .

We can help you all but we need to know your charges Rick said. 'fuck you pig 'the Mexican screamed.

'ok just sit here then . " Rick put them in individual holding cells that were in the front of the mess hall. I stood guard still trin to place the mouth scar guy. He spoke with an Irish accent but I still couldn't place him.

"Aye boi wha che staring at huh? Never seen a scar before'? He asked me noticing my stare

"What's ya name" I asked him

"Dumas , chips Dumas y" he said then it hit me. He's my father in law

I approached the cell . He stood up and got nose to nose with me. "Why does ya kid think ya dead" I asked not sure if I'd like the answer. "My kid is somewhere with her no good ma. I came in here and never saw her again. What's it to u"

"Ya daughters name is Lita. She thinks ur dead that's y she never came. " I said trying to gauge his reaction.

"How the hell would you know redneck" he said honestly confused

"Cause I'm ya son in law asshole" "litas here"

His demeanor changed quick. "Is she ok ? What happened to her?"

"Ya bitch ex wife sold her to geezer. " He froze knowing what that meant" I saved her we been married for over a year. " Don't ask her details she won't want you to know" he just shook his head

"Baby?" I heard behind me

"I turned to see a confused Lita and all I heard was "da'?"

"Yea princess it's me"

Mom said u died . " "Lying bitch" Lita said smiling . She turned to me

"Unlock him " I just nodded and Lita grabbed and hugged her dad or da' as she called him.

I explained to Rick who he was and Rick wasn't happy but he delt with it. Carol backed off after chips told her to leave me be . The rest of the prisoners were sent to the opposite cell block .

We lived in the prison as a family. Chips in one tower me and Lita in the other. Everyone else was in the cells . Everything was good until a woman appeared in the walkers holding baby formula. Something was wrong Maggie and glen were sent after the formula .
