Rick pov

We pulled into the gate. How was I gunna tell Lita Daryl left. I saw carol at the gate and decided to speak to her.

"Where's Daryl" she asked

"We ran into merle" "they went off"

"He left?" "He left the group"? "What about his play thing?" Carol asked

"Carol don't do that right now. She's gunna need a friend. Can you do that please" "he left this for her it's not my business so I haven't read it neither should you"

"I'll try" is all carol said as I gave her the note.

I told Lita about Daryl and she just ran to her tower. Please go thru with this carol.

Carol pov

Daryl finally left the whore. He deserves better. She'll never see this note but I will play fake nice . Eventually he will get over her. She's getting fat any way.

Lita pov

It's been over a week since Daryl left me. I can't find energy to even get out of bed. We tried for so long for a child but I guess he got tired of me.

Da' has been trying to help but all I wanna do is lie here. I'm pregnant and alone. I just want my husband back. What did I do wrong?

I need to get up so I forced myself up to go eat. Carol is being weirdly nice. But I dont care at the moment.

I need to eat for the baby. I entered the cafeteria and found Da' working on some Irish soup. Smells so good.

"Here feed my grandbaby" he whispered as I began to eat

Carol walked over . "You know everyone needs to eat to not just you" she said as she began to divide up the soup. I suddenly felt full so I simply got up and returned to the tower .

Chips pov

I heard what carol said to Lita. I rounded on that bitch."my daughter will eat what I give her. You've done nothing but try to destroy her. You will burn in hell for denying a pregnant woman food."! I screamed not realizing I said the last part.

Everyone looked at me. "Yeah litas pregnant. I'm clearly the only family she's got left so if I cook she eats first am I clear'! ?

Everyone nodded. As Rick approached. "Is she ok . I know she's probably sick but is she ok"?

"No. U denied her brother entry here so her husband went to protect him. He's an idiot but you are the reason she is alone now . Control that whore carol. I'ma try to get Lita to eat do my grandchild doesn't starve." I said as I grabbed Lita bowl and went to the tower.

I approached the tower and all I heard was sobs. When I entered Lita was wrapped in one of Daryl's shirts crying her eyes out. I put the bowl down and simple hugged Lita. It was hours before she calmed down only to be disrupted by a BOOM . Shots rang out. I pushed Lita to the ground "you stay er' don't get up or move. " She nodded and cradled her belly
I ran outside and saw walkers . Everywhere in the yard. Some man was down by the fence but he soon left when the walkers were covering the yard. Someone was in the trees shooting so I had to dodge bullets to try and get back to Lita . I felt a pain in my shoulder and everything went black.

I awoke to none other than Daryl in front of me tryin to wake me up. Shaking me screaming "where's Lita"

She's safe you left! I screamed at him before returning to the tower he looked utterly dumb founded.

"Chips I didn't leave her. I gave Rick a letter for her to know where to go. I was gunna do what she wanted and leave but she never showed I swear to God on my life . "He screamed

I walked back up to him and looked in his eyes. He was telling the truth. "Rick never gave her anything. She's in the tower go talk to her I'll handle Rick" he nodded and ran to the tower with the man he returned with . I'm assuming it's his brother.

Daryl pov

I can't believe I trusted these assholes.they made Lita believe I got rid of her. I knew after 8 days when she didn't show everything was wrong. So I made merle turn around. My plan was to meet at our hideaway. Or at least hide merle there.

When I got to the top of the stairs I saw her. My beautiful wife huddled in a corner shaking holding her stomach . Was she still sick?

I opened the glass and she darted her head to me. She didn't say anything just kept holding her stomach. "What?" She finally said.

"Lita LISTIN to me. I didn't leave you I gave those asshole a letter for you . Clearly they didn't bother to give it to you . Baby please you have to believe me" I pleaded with her . I didn't realize I was crying until she got up and ran to me. She hugged me and I wrapped my arms around her back . She looked at me and grabbed my collar bringing me down to her lips. I immediately kissed her back dropping the cross bow. So I could embrace the love of my life.

"Lita I .... I started she cut me off

"I'm pregnant "

"What?" Was all I said

She placed a small stick in my hand with a blue cross on it. I looked down at it then to my wife and smiled. "I'ma be a daddy?" I asked her

"Yeah" was all she said before I picked her up and wrapped her legs around me. I kissed her with every bit of passion I had before someone clearing there throat broke our spell

"Hi merle "Lita said smiling at me

"Lovin' the joyous reunion but can we get goin inside we all could use a beer"

"Um no beer for me but sure u guys enjoy" Lita said still with her head on my chest. We walked down the steps where I put her down

"Why you not drinkin? "You to good to drink with ol merle now" he asked

We stopped and looked at each other. Merle turned around confused and I just put my hand on litas lower stomach. It took him a minute but he finally said.....

"Holllllyyy shitt ! " He hugged us both as we entered the prison.

Rick approached us and demanded merle be put into lockup. Merle obliged so there wouldn't be a fight.

" Lita I'm so sorry I gave carol....Rick started

"So that's what happened and y she's suddenly being nice. " I said

"Rick she goes or we do " I  said behind lita

Rick looked from us to merle back to Lita" I can't send a woman and child on the road"

"We didn't say a carol and Sofia we said carol. She never watches her anyway so what's the problem " I asked

"Lita she's been good to you" Rick said

"SHE LIED, CONSTANTLY Calls ME A WHORE, AND IS Constantly Harassing DARYL "! Lita YELLED

"I can't I'm sorry . " Rick said.

Daryl started to speak but I grabbed his arm. And dragged him to hershals cell where da ' was being stitched up

'Da' were going to a cabin we found in the woods . It'll clearly be safer there . Your welcome to join us it will be us and Daryl's brother merle." Lita said . I was stunned but happy she made the decision. We need to get away from these people.

"You're carrying my grand baby of course I'm comin . " Da said

We left the cell and made the announcement.people were pissed but they will get over it.

We unlocked merle and helped da' pack. Chips asked me to call him da' apparently that's how it's done in Ireland.

Once we were all packed Lita swiped glens jets cause we had packed everything in his truck. Merle hoped on his bike and off we went.
