The Ghost lay on an abandoned space base as Ezra, Hera, and Zeb sat the hunter resting his eyes Chopper played a holovid "in zero-ten, I will discuss the dramatic events transpiring in your imperial..." the man said before he was cutoff Zeb stretched out his back "hope we're not going to be hiding in this can forever. There's only so much HoloNet I can take." Zeb said as Sam popped out "I'd say they're late, but we don't even know when they're supposed to show up, or who we're meeting." She said as Chopper chirped "whoever they are, Senator Organa wants them to get where they're going, and he's trusting us to get them fuel." Hera said turning to them "if he trusts us, why is he keeping us in the dark?" the ghost asked tilting her shell down "you know as much as I do." Hera said turning back making the little light sigh "no wonder Kanan volunteered for that supply run." Sam complain with a huff as her guardian slept "heh." Zeb chuckled as a Holonet video played "Imperial Senator Mon Mothma of Chandrila has shocked the Senate with her treasonous remarks against Emperor Palpatine. I name the Emperor himself for ordering the brutal attacks on the people of Ghorman. Their peaceful world is one of countless systems helpless against his oppressive rule. This massacre is proof that our self-appointed Emperor is little more than a lying executioner, imposing his tyranny under the pretense of security. We cannot allow this evil to stand." The Holonet video played "wow! Did she really say that about the Emperor?" Sam asked as Ezra stretched waking up "I'm surprised she's still breathing. Lady's got guts." Zeb said as the hunter nodded half-awake as a beeping was heard from one of the consoles "well time to get to it then." Ezra said stretching out his back and looking out the cockpit window seeing a ship of some kind flying towards the destroyed base "maybe that's our contact?" Sam asked making Hera shake her head "I don't think so. Chopper, scan." She ordered as the droid projected a imagine of the ship "a probe? What's it doing way out here?" Hera asked making the hunter scratch his chin "looks imperial. That's bad." He said looking at the two "let's blast it before it spots us." Zeb said making Hera sigh "Ezra, get in the nose gun, but hold your fire. We don't want to attract attention if we can avoid it. I'll power down so it can't scan us." Hera said making the hunter nod "that includes you, Chopper." She said as the droid protested asking why Sam doesn't have to be powered down as the droid struggled with Zeb before the lasat hit the switch Sam went to her pocket dimension as the hunter climbed down to the nose gun "nobody make a move." Hera said as they looked to the ship.

The crew watched the ship pass by "I don't think it saw us." Zeb said making Hera shake her head "I'll be convinced when it leaves." She said watching fly aroubd looking for something "that doesn't look like leaving." Ezra said "coming straight for us." Zeb informed as Hera narrowed her eyes "must be scanning for life signs." She said making Zeb roll his eyes "well, that's just great." He said as he chuckled "we can't shoot it with the power down." The lasat continued "Ezra, be ready." Hera said making the hunter nod "just say when." He said as it moved closer "come on buddy, get closer, just a bit closer." Ezra said as it drew near "now!" Hera shouted the hunter fired missing twice "come on, kid, hit it before it transmit our location." Zeb said as Ezra scowled "things quick and what I say about calling me kid." Ezra complained as he continued to fire as Hera flew after the ship it flew throughout  the destroyed station "damn, I can't get a clean shot." He said annoyed as they flew towards the ship "who is that?" The hunter asked "never mind them stay on target!" Hera yelled as the hunter finally shot of out of the sky "take that bandit!" The hunter exclaimed "Phoenix leader, this is Gold Squadron. We catch you at a bad time?" A man asked "sorry about that, Gold Squadron. Close call with an imperial probe." Hera said "were you detected?" The man asked "chances are high, it called for reinforcements." Hera informed "begin refueling immediately. We need to get out of here before the empire arrived." The man said making Hera nod.

Timeskip

Refueling the ship whilst they moved irked the hunter but they persisted they went to the cargo hold where the connected to the ship "Captain Syndulla, I presume. I'm Erskin Semaj Senatorial attaché. And this is Captain Vander, he leads Gold Squadron." Erskin introduced Hera turned to the crew "this is Ezra, Zeb, Chopper, and Sam." She introduced them one at a time "so, what're ya transporting stranger?" Ezra asked with flair making the two crew members "please understand, due to security concerns, your crew will not be allowed to board our vessel." Erskin said making the hunter groan in annoyance "well, you're welcome aboard ours. Let's get to refueling." Hera said as the two walked past them.
