Elle couldn't believe that this day would come. She just got back to Korea after taking two weeks off. From their honeymoon. The honeymoon that Jaebeom claimed needs to be extended. But she had left Jihoon on his own for two weeks. Even though he was a teenager now, but still.. she never left him on his own this long. It was natural for her to worry for her son. Plus, she couldn't bother the rest of Jaebeom's members to take care of Jihoon while they were absent. Jinyoung and Youngjae were kind enough to take Jihoon while they were gone. One week at Jinyoung and one week at Youngjae. Though Seonyoung kept assuring her that Jihoon was not bothering them, that they had a spare room in their apartment for guests and that since he was a middle schooler now, Jihoon could go to school and go back home by himself. So Jihoon was not bothering Seonyoung and Jinyoung's life at all.
Even though Elle suspected that the reason Seonyoung said that Jihoon was not a burden for them was partially because she wasn't at home much, considering that she still had night duties two nights per week, thus she might not see Jihoon much. But Jinyoung assured her that it wasn't the case. Jinyoung even praised Jihoon for being so independent. Cleaning up his room and even helping around the house during dinner time, whenever they had the chance to sit down and eat together. Jinyoung even reported that Jihoon diligently attended his after school classes as scheduled, so Elle didn't have anything to be worried about.
Youngjae also reported the same thing. In fact, Youngjae happily reported that Jihoon was excited to stay at his place because Jihoon could play with Coco. It was not a secret that both Jihoon and Jaebeom were pet lovers. However, since Elle was allergic to the fur, Jaebeom's kids had to be migrated to his home studio, away from Elle. Thus, Jihoon didn't get the chance to pet them. So Jihoon was happy to pet Coco and even volunteered to take Coco out on a walk almost everyday, in between his school and his after school classes. Elle bit her lips, thinking that Jihoon might get attached to Coco and his longing for pets would come back even stronger now.
But Elle had other things to worry about right now. Jaebeom made a mistake. He booked the moving trucks on the wrong date. He was supposed to book them on the 20th, but he booked them on the 12th instead. So, right after they landed and headed home from their honeymoon, they only got to rest for a night before having to deal with the moving trucks. Elle has been packing their stuff in the boxes that the moving company sent them and lined them up near the door so the boys could load them into the trucks as soon as the truck arrived. Bambam, Youngjae and Yugyeom agreed to help her with the boxes as Jaebeom and Jinyoung had their hands tied in the company. They had a meeting with the attorney and they couldn't change the date so they had no choice but to move on with the plan. Luckily, the kids all agreed to help Elle so Jaebeom was grateful, knowing that Elle didn't have to deal with the moving process herself.
Elle huffed as she wiped the sweat off her forehead. She swore she wasn't a hoarder but the boxes lining up at the entranceway proved otherwise. How come she managed to have so much stuff in ten years since she resided in this apartment? Elle ran around the rooms, making sure that she had packed all the essentials since she didn't have time to pack everything. Jaebeom promised her that he would help with the rest so she decided to pack the essentials for now. Clothes, books, kitchen tools and utensils were the ones that she counted as essentials. She wouldn't need the TV or other electronics as Jaebeom had those in his house already and Jaebeom told her to leave the furniture since she planned to rent the place after she left the place. She was done by the time the boys arrived and they had just gone in when the bell buzzed again and this time, it was the truck's driver. Soon, they were busy loading the truck with her stuff and then unloading them again after they arrived at Jaebeom's place.
