Eviction

Charlie's POV

We got woken up to a loud knocking at the door. Dani grabbed her pocket knife and opened the door. It was the motel owner so she immediately put the knife up. He looked down at Dani, she was 5,8 but he was probably 6,5.
"I have just been informed that you are Daniell Tanner and you" he said pointing towards me "are Charlotte Hendrickson".
"Um yes sir" Dani said sounding a little scared.
" well this motel is for people fifteen and up, twelve year olds are too young to stay in a motel alone, you've been kicked out". He said while dropping out leftover money on the table and walking towards the door. "Oh and you have twenty minutes to get out of here or you'll be sent to the foster home" and With that he was gone.
We packed up all of our stuff and Dani motioned me to follow her out the back door.
"What are we doing back here? We could've gone out the front" I asked her.
"Well if you were paying attention you would've noticed this beauty" she said motioning towards a red 1967 red camero with two white stripes going down the hood.
"Did you steal that?" I questioned nervously.
" Of course not, I'm not that much of a thief, Beatrice gave it to us as a thanks for not hurting me gift". She explained.
"We can't drive it though".
"I can, Beatrice is my cousin which means I can get what I want from her, so I got a fake ID, I tried to get you one but she wouldn't budge". As she said the last part she frowned.
" It's okay, at least we have a ride"
"Yeah and she gave us nine hundred dollars for gas" she explained excitedly.
"Awesome!"
"Also she gave me a credit card and told me to text her when we ran out of cash so she could send us some more".
"What are we going to text her with?" I asked very confused.
"With these" She grinned as she pulled out two brand new iPhone six's.
"OH MY GOSH" I squealed.
"Yeah, I already got us some apps and I got us each a case" she said as she pulled out a zebra case and a panda case.
" which one do you want?" She asked.
" definitely the zebra" I squealed excitedly.
After we finished putting out cases we got in the car, it smelt like leather and gunpowder with a little bit of pine. The only things in the car that were modern were the heating system and the radio. The radio had an AUX cord and a spinning dial, it also lit up blue and purple.
"Let's get out of town for a while, I have a place where we can stay" Dani said as she pulled out of the back of the motel.
I agreed and we rolled down the windows as we drove off and got hit by the fresh morning air.
