Riddley's POV

The tall man shot Dani, then Dan tried to attack him. He shot Dan in the head.

Charlie was infuriated. She ran towards the man holding a big ball of fire. She threw it at him and he immediately caught on fire. He started screaming. His deep voice bellowed through the woods but luckily no one came near these woods.

We dumped his body into the lake and joined Alec and Harley to check the twins. I checked Dan first. No pulse. My eyes teared up but I had to stay strong. I walked over to Dani and she had a faint pulse.

Two of us each grabbed one body and carried them inside. Dan's body was cold and lifeless while Dani's body was losing color and warmth quickly. She was dying.

Since Charlie took some Med classes I let her take out the bullet. It was really deep. She grabbed some floss, a sewing needle, and whiskey from the adult cabinet, and got to work.

She pulled the bullet out and it was the size of a Lego car. She then sewed her stomach together and cleaned it with the whiskey. She told Harley to run into the kitchen and get the paper towel roll and duck tape. When he brought the supplies back she wrapped the towels around Dani's stomach and duck taped the towel together.

She then moved over to Dan and tried to figure out if he could live. It was a lost cause. The bullet went all the way through his skull and almost out of the back of his head. Once I realized that, I began to cry. Dan was gone.

Harley took me upstairs with Alec so we could let Charlie have some alone time. After all, it is her best friend laying on that couch possibly dying. She's her other half, her sister. It must wreck her on the inside.

Charlie's POV

He's gone. Dan's gone forever.

I wish I could've been quicker and saw that man pull out his gun. I wish I could've saved Dan.

I don't know what I'll do if Dani doesn't make it. It seems like I've known her all my life. She's in every good memory and every bad. I can't remember or even imagine life without her.

If she doesn't make it I'll lose my mind. I can't do this without her. I just hope she pulls through. I NEED her to pull through.

I walked back over to her and checked her pulse. It was gone. She had no pulse. I freaked out and started screaming and crying. I started to resesitate her and it worked. She had a very faint pulse, but it was there. Everyone ran down stairs to check on me but I sent them away. I needed to be alone.

I've stayed beside her for three days. Her pulse has ceased a few times but it's finally getting stronger. I've barely eaten. I barley let the others in to see her. I preoccupy them by sending them to get stuff at the store.

They were at the store when it happened.

She woke up. I was drowsily sitting in a rickety but yet comfortable rocking chair when she opened her eyes. I was shocked when she opened her eyes because they were red!

Her eyes were completely red no other color not even black. It was kind of scary.

"Your awake!" I squealed forgetting all about her eyes.

"What happened" her hoarse voice whispered.

"You got shot"

"Did anyone else get hurt?"

Great just the part I was avoiding.

"Uh yeah" I said under my breath but audible enough for her to hear me.

"Who!" She asked frantically.

"Uh D-Dan" I stuttered avoiding eye contact.

"Is he okay?" She almost screamed.

"He didn't make it Dani, I'm so so sorry".

"W-what?" She said as she started to cry.

I comforted her until she fell asleep and then I decided to text the guys and tell them to get home before I went to sleep.

C: Hey Dani's awake you should come home
R: Okay me and the boys will bring dinner
C: one more thing
R: what?
C: Dani's eyes are completely red no other color
R: what?!?!
C: come home and see
R: I'll be home soon

I put down my Phone and payed on the couch across from Dani. I'm so happy she made it.
But what's wrong with her eyes?

I didn't want to kill off Dan he was a really good character. I'm sorry but I had to. Don't forget to vote and comment! Also if you've noticed most of my chapters are song titles you should look them up!
