AS you were sitting on the rooftop of your dorm, admiring the beautiful orange-pink sunset, you heard the entrance to the rooftop open.

"Y/N.."

'c/n, of course' you thought. you rolled your eyes at that boy. you turned your head to face him to see him holding flowers with a note attached to it. you made eye contact with him and all you could see in his eyes were guilt.

"that's for her?" you asked, your voice was cold. there was no emotions in it. your eyes were puffy red from all the tears you shed.

he felt a pang of sadness and more guilt in his heart knowing he did that to you. he had to explain everything.

"y/n.. im sor-" he tried to apologize.

"stop." you stopped him before he could finish his apology.

you've had enough of his bullshit. how could he? how could he confess his 'undying' love to you and then kiss your best friend the next day? that's plain old bullshit. maybe its because she was pretty? maybe because she was popular? in animes, the short hair girl always gets rejected. is it because you have short hair and she has longer hair? it isnt fair.

"if only i could, i'd make a deal with god. i'd get him to change the past" he says.

but you knew, those were just impossible words. those were words he didnt mean.

"please, im sorry.." he pleaded

upset, you stood up. "you confessed, and then the day after, you jhkissed my best friend. that's bullshit"

tears were falling from both c/ns and your eyes.

he took a deep breath and started explaining. since bsf/n is into science, she made a kind of harmless chemical. she gave it to him and immediately kissed him. and that was when you came in. suddenly, everything makes sense. the way bsf/n has been ditching hangouts. the way she would not give the same vibes when talking about him.

you fell to your knees, crying. he quickly rushed to your side, "y/n.. are you okay?"

you didnt reply. instead, you leaned against him.

"im sorry.. im so sorry." you repeatedly apologized for not hearing his story out from the start
