"You two... Are getting married." Joshua couldn't believe the words that came out of his father's mouth. An arranged marriage? To a complete stranger?

"Appa-"

"No." His father said firmly. "It's what's best for everyone."

"And then what?" Jeonghan asked. "He expects us to do 'coupley things' in public?"

"Jeez, shut up." Seungcheol groaned. "Just shut up."

"You're of no help whatsoever." Jeonghans glared at gim and Seungcheol grinned.

"Not my fault. Look, your husband is coming."

"Hey." Joshua said, in his smooth voice. "Ready?"

"To go where?" Jeonghan asked.

"Where do you want to go?" Joshua asked. "Your choice.

"Uh, the cafe down the road." Jeonghans mumbled almost inaudibly.

"Speak up, Hannie." Joshua said, his confidence growing with each passing second.

"The cafe down the road."

"Let's go, then." They left, leaving a cackling Seungcheol who staggered his way home in fits of laughter. Some friend he was

"I can't believe it actually happened." Jeonghan said. "We got married. Now what?"

"I don't know." This Joshua was unexpected. He was at a loss for what to do.

"I'm going to my room." Jeonghan said quickly. He Dashed off and pulled out his phone, opening his chat with Seungcheol.

HanHan : Bish help me.

Seungcoal : 😏 We'll see.

HanHan : I hate you

Seungcoal : Love you too 💕

Jeonghan signed and stared at the ceiling. He was a married man. And this stranger, was strangely confident.

"Hey." He looked at the door and saw Joshua. "I'm going to meet my friends for dinner, do you want to come?"

"N-no thanks." Jeonghan said.

"Okay." Joshua frowned, but soon departed. "See you."

As Jeonghan laid there for hours, he eventually fell asleep, dreaming of... his new husband.

"You don't get it?" Joshua told Jun. "He's so timid, like a little mouse."

"Hah, I'm glad I didn't have an arranged marriage."

"It's so awkward." Joshua sighed. "He only says Hello and Goodnight."

"What do you expect, Shua?"

"At least a small conversation."

"Good luck." Jun told him. "You'll need it."

"Thanks." Joshua said, walking away.

"Can we at least talk?" Joshua asked, one night at dinner. "It's been two months and you've hardly said anything besides Hi and Bye."

"Okay." Jeonghan said softly. "What do you want to talk about?"

"Well... How was your day? What did you do?" Joshua asked.

"I went out with my friends... I had lunch with you... I went to work in the morning." Jeonghan said, recalling what he did that day. "And now I'm having dinner with you and conversing, like you asked."

"Hmm, sassy..." Joshua said. "I like it."

This caused Jeonghan to blush, a pink colour coatinf his cheeks.

"How was your day?" He quickly asked, trying to change the subject."

"I hung out with my friends after work too." Joshua said. "Minghao told me to stop being a pushover and ask you out."

"What?"

"Did I just say that out loud?" Joshua asked. Jeonghan nodded. "Well... It's true. I like you."

"Okay."

"Go out with me." Joshua said, confidence restored.

"Uh... Okay."

That night, Jeonghan couldn't catch a wink of sleep for hours. He'd been crushing on Joshua for ages, so it was a surprise when Joshua confessed, a happy surprise. He finally fell asleep at 1 am, giving in to his tiredness.

The next morning, he met Joshua in the corridor and finally cracked a smile, when he saw a light pink spread across Joshua's cheeks.

"Morning."

"Morning." Joshua replied. "Lunch date. You and me."

"Alright." Jeonfhan replied. "Where?"

"There's a restaurant near my office." Joshua informed. "They do really good gimbap."

"Okay." Jeonghan smiled.

"I think our parents must've known something about us." Joshua said. It had been half a year since he'd confessed, and they were now boyfriend husband's. "Most arranged marriages don't work out like this."

Jeonghan smiled playfully.

"You were the one who blurted how much you liked me. At our first date." He said slyly.

Flashback

"I really like you!" Jeonghan said, then shrank, not knowing where his confidence had come from. But Joshua just laughed.

"I like you too." He tilted Jeonghan's chin up. "Why don't we become lovers, instead of married strangers?"

"Y-yeah." Jeonghan muttered, still slightly embarrassed. "Sure."

Flashback end

"Hush." Jeonghan replied, his head on Joshua's lap, while the other combed through his hair. "That was embarrassing.
