💙 Yujin (ZB1) - Memories

"Yujinnie, be back by nine okay?" Hanbin's soft voice called. "I don't want you staying out too late."

"Alright hyung." Yujin called back, closing the door behind him and slipping his key into his front pocket. He let the cool night air sting his face, a feeling he loved.

However, his nighttime walk to the store was interrupted by two voices screaming at each other. A woman and a man.

"You're the worst person I've ever had the displeasure of being with!" The man screamed, his face red with anger.

"Oh, I'd love to see you date better people!" The woman snarled dangerously. "I want to see."

Yujin began to tremble, memories flooding into his mind.

Flashback

"If you don't like it you can leave!"

He was eight, his parents were screaming at each other.

"Woman, don't make me!"

He was eleven, they were throwing knives at each other!

Flashback ends.

"Yujin, Yujin!!!" He shakily looked into Matthews worried face. "Baby, are you alright?"

"H-hyung, they were y-yelling, then my parents, I remembered -"

"Shh, let's go." Now Hanbin was carrying him, but he was too out of it to protest.

Next, Zhang Hao's voice, saying things Yujin's mind couldn't process.

Next thing he knew, he was in his bed, blinking up at his hyungs.

"How're you feeling?" Taerae asked worriedly, hovering over Yujin.

"W-what happened?"

"You poor thing, you don't even remember." Zhang Hao's face came into view. "Some people got into a yelling match and... you... had a panic attack. You didn't return so me, Hanbin and Matthew went to look for you."

"I'm sorry, hyungie." Yujin apologized.

"Yujinnie..." Hanbin took a deep breath. "We need to know what your parent did to you. It's... obviously affecting you in a very bad way."

"T-thay got into fights everyday." Yujin whispered, curling his legs into his body. "Then they'd somehow bring my grades or my friends into it, and then... when I was 14, I ran."

"You ran? Where did you go?" Jiwoong asked in concern.

"I... I went to my aunt and uncle." Yujin admitted. "They took me in, gave me a roof over my head, fed me, loved me. More than my parents ever did."

"Remind me to thank your aunt and uncle." Zhang Hao joked. Yujin stifled a small giggle.

"Then I joined Yuehua." Yujin continued. "And then boys planet happened."

A small smile graced his lips.

"Then I found my family with you guys."

"Aww Yujinnie." Gyuvin cooed, pinching his cheeks. "My agi."

"No!" Yujin recoiled. "No! Only Hao hyung can big me!"

"Oh, is that so?" Ricky raised an eyebrow. "So those times where you cling to me and Gyuvin like a koala, that wasn't you?"

"I-"

"Just admit you like it." Zhang Hao said, grinning evilly. "Come on."

"Fine, I like it."
