The moon and the stars scintillated its light, discerning the fragile soul wriggling and trembling, clenching the bedspread as her head commenced to shake vigorously, as if she was attempting to get rid of the scene that was playing across her mind.
Sweat beads trickling down her forehead, as her eyelids shut closed in dread perhaps, she wanted someone to pull her back to reality as the flashbacks of her hideous past hit her hard, she feels she is a mystery herself, where she has no idea where or to whom her soul belongs.
“ Come with me ” The Thirteen year old boy whispers kindly, his pair of ocean blue eyes shining in empathy, he holds the frail palm of an eight year old girl, imploring with his to go along with him.
“ Dad will choke me ” says the little girl with tear filled eyes, as her hiccups resound across everywhere, her eyes kept surveying every corner in dread that perhaps her father would come anytime and lock her up in a storeroom.
“ We will go home and tell my parents, they will help you from your abusive father, ” says the boy, his ocean blue eyes clenching hope that perhaps his friend would go along with him and maybe then his father could help this fragile soul out.
“ Fayra ” the familiar voice of none other than her father reached their ears, earning the fragile to tremble as she shoved the boy imploring him to run away, the boy's pair of clean blue eyes shimmered with tears as he stepped back staring at her.
She sat up, clenching the bedspread close to her chest, as tears rolled down her dark pair of intoxicated gray eyes, flashbacks of her past hit her like thunderbolt as she held her hair in exasperation.
She wanted to breathe and find solace towards her heart, as a pair of familiar ocean blue eyes flashed in front of hers, she squeezed her eyes to get rid of everything whilst muffling some deep breaths, calming her trembling soul.
She stands up from the bed, placing her quivering foot over the soft black mattress, as she heaved a breath striding towards the familiar room, darkness encompassed each corner as she set foot in, her eyes surveying the vacant room to find dadi anywhere, she wanted to lay in the old woman's lap perhaps thinking maybe then she would find some peace.
But the woman was nowhere to be seen, until Fayra discerned dadi was in the washroom she decided to go back to her room, as she tugged the strands of her hair behind her ears.
She was about to step out the door but the thing caught her attention, making her walk towards the bedside table and saw a wooden frame, her eyes went wide and her heart felt like ceasing at the person she saw in it maybe.
She grasped the frame in her palm as she gulped in the truth, breathing heavily she dashed towards the Master room, her mind clouding with numerous questions and her eyes held hope, a sob slipped her quivering lips as it echoed in the vacant hallways, until she reached a room that has encompassed in stillness.
She took a moment to glimpse at the frame again, finding a beautiful boy around thirteen years old perhaps, his ocean blue eyes held kindness in it,
Just the way Fayra saw it in her dreams, she inhaled a deep breath stepping inside the familiar dark room, hiding the frame behind her. Fayra took in the details the little boy carried, he was in his white hoodie and a pair of black jeans, a dazzling smile played across his face, and Fayra felt the cameraman indeed did a great job clicking it,She inhaled a large breath as she stepped in, staring at the Giant man seated on the floor, his naked upper body in the display to her eyes, the room filled in darkness as the moonlight shimmered through curtains of his room, he was only on his trousers, as Fayra glimpsed a familiar canvas in his palm, the man was so busy in drinking the beauty of it he was unaware of the presence standing across him.
“ who- who gave you this ?” her tremulous voice reached his ears earning him to startle and stare at her beautiful pair of gray eyes, she kneeled over the floor staring at the canvas, as flashbacks hit her with brutal slaps, she breathed hard shaking her head, staring at the familiar canvas, a beautiful ocean blue eyes painted across it.
“ Who is this? "She extended her palm earning the man to stare at her mystified, until his pair of ocean blue encountered the frame in her palm, he snatched it from her hand and attempted to restrain his tears, his chest heaving up and down as his lips twisted into a shattered smile.
Her heart whacked against her ribcage, discerning perhaps it was him, thinking how does fate play such games, she couldn't fathom what she had to feel at the moment, she felt numb and mystified, staring at the frame discerning he was the same boy that she met in her childhood, and this was the canvas that she had gifted him once.
She held his palm seeking for answers, imploring in her eyes to answer for the myriads of questions that coulded her mind, but what he said next was enough for her to lose her breath, she felt she was played by the games that fate kept hurling at her, and she sat numb unable to process.
