“ khafifa ” his muffled voice resounds across the quite room, earning Fayra to squeeze her eyes shut, she took the canvas from his muscular arms, and scrutinized her teary gaze in them, tracing it in her trembling palm as the man watched her with his lachrymose eyes, before letting her know another part of his nasty yet beautiful past.

“ He is familiar to you” she says, pointing at the frame and nodding her head to speak out, but he sealed his lips, finding words to utter, he inhaled a deep breath as he rubbed his cheeks, giving himself some warmth as he felt cold when the flashbacks commenced to hit his mind.

“ He - he is Isa Hassan Khan, my twin brother ” he Divulged, pointing his finger at the frame with the shattered smile across his beautiful full lips, her dark eyes go wide as the truth dawned in her body, immersing in her soul, yet she shook her head vigorously assuring herself this wasn't true.

His words echoed across in each corner, again and again in repeat making Fayra shut her ears with her palm, as sweat beads trickled down her forehead hearing out to something that turned unanticipated.

“ My brother met with an accident and passed away at the age of fourteen, after my parents it was only him who i had, but God Snatched him too from me ” He speaks, his voice coming out tight as he rubbed his chest to ease the pain, and all Fayra could do was sit numb, the boy had same features as him, as she stared at the man who sat lifeless, his eyes vacant and blank, her heart ached to stare at him in this condition and all she wished at the moment was to mend his shattered soul.

She bites her lips in agitation, unable to process the words he uttered, that kept ringing in her mind making it difficult for her to hold her breath or scream, finding the courage to question further she stared at his eyes, drowning in the beauty of these beautiful ocean blue eyes.

“ Why do you call him khafifa?" She questions, gulping down the tears and clenching her arms, she held his muscular arms when she saw him squeezing his eyes shut perhaps from the unbearable pain, and he suppressed a broken chuckle, placing a kiss over her palm making the side of her lips twist into a smile.

He rubbed her cold palms, giving solace to her heart. Eventually she commenced to feel peace surrounding her soul. How bizarre it is, fate tied these two opposite souls together with so much twist and trials.

“In love, i address him as my khafifa, a light to my darkness” he apprised, his voice appearing wobbly, Fayra placed her quivering palm on his cheeks, wiping the tears that rolled down his cheeks, she nodded her head at him to hold on, that fate has more to offer for him that they can't lose or give up so soon.

Fayra's mind commenced to connect the dots but she couldn't say anything, she couldn't gather words to utter what her heart wants to say to him, as she stayed numb, licking her dry lips as her mind flashed with the scenes of her past, discerning the boy she met in her past was his twin brother isa, Isa Hassan Khan.

A tear roll down her cheeks, as she wiped it away staring at her beast who sat lifeless, his eyes intently fixed on the canvas with a dazzling smile across his lips, his eyes held hope and contentment before he whispers.

“ This - this canvas was given to me by him, i am madly in love with this art Fayra ” he confess, staring at her teary eyes, he placed the canvas in her soft frail palm, smiling at her as she felt her breath Snatching away at how handsome he looked, she gulped in his dazzling features meanwhile her heart whispered, how handsome he is.

Her eyes ran down his body, before she averted her eyes as her cheeks flushed in shyness earning the man to chuckle at her innocence, his heart flooding with intense emotions as his eyes kept staring at her every move.

She couldn't handle the intensity of his eyes, so she stands up and walks to the nearby balcony, the fresh set of night air brushed her face, as her hair danced in the same rhythm, he came from behind as her eyes twinkled under the moonlight.

“ How beautiful it is ” she whispers, pointing at the moon, a beautiful example of light in the world, her eyes shining in admiration but his eyes never left hers, he was lost in her charm and her glamor until he whispers the words his heart utter.

“ I Don't admire moon anymore, i have found one for me on my own” he whispers huskily, startling her as she turns her head sideways to glimpse his pair of dazzling eyes collided to hers, staring through her soul and for a moment her heart felt dread perhaps thinking he could read the emotions from her eyes, making her bow her head down in shyness.
