Master Ubuyashiki had called us pillars of his mansion on such short notice. Everyone was already almost there when I arrived at the mansion. There was someone new standing in front of us.

He had raven black hair that was tied back in a ponytail, his hair a mess. He had on the normal demon slayer uniform like all of us but a mismatched Hario. Which was something I had never seen before. He had deep sapphire eyes that someone could get lost in. 'Why am I thinking like that' I thought.

His face wore a stoical expression. I could tell everyone was judging him so I gave him a smile. I could tell his eyes were resting on me. 'Odd' I thought.

A few minutes later Master Ubuyashiki came out to start the meeting. "Thank you so much for coming on such short notice, my dear children." Ubuyashiki started while we all kneeled. "But we have a new member in among our ranks." He said while everyone stood. "Tomioka Giyuu Water Pillar," he told them and waved his hand towards the man. The man, Tomioka's face never changed. 'So he's the new water pillar, I wonder how good he is.' I wondered. "I will be handing out missions later, you are now dismissed. Again thank you for coming" With that he turned and went back into the mansion.

I found the new pillar odd, he hadn't spoken a word yet. So I walked over to him "Tomioka~san!" I called. He turned towards me but didn't say anything. "Why haven't you spoken a word?" I asked him. He just glared at me. "This is why everyone doesn't like you already," I said. He didn't say anything and just started walking to leave the mansion. "Oh my, Tomioka~san where did you learn your manners?" I ask as I poke him.

I don't know what made me I kept following him just trying to get him to talk when he finally said, "You're an insect you know that." He says. "He speaks! Didn't know you knew how to." I said. He just rolled his eyes. " This is why no one like you Tomioka~san," I said and sprinted off to the Butterfly Mansion
