You suspected that Kokushibo would be somewhere in the main house, in the common living room or in his room, or perhaps outside in the zen garden.

When you got to the main house, everything turned out as you had expected.
Kokushibo was sitting in zen garden meditating. His expression was so calm and his breathing was so concentrated, you could tell he was an absolute master at it.
You were bored, so you quietly walked closer to him and sat down next to him, looking at him carefully.

When he finally opened his eyes, he stood up and looked at you with a steady gaze

"-Next time, try to walk quietly, I noticed you right away, Y/n."

"-What? So he knew I was here all along? But how?"

Kokushibo added, as if he got your thoughts

"-When you were walking to me, you stepped on a rock."

You looked back. And indeed, there was a small stone on the path you had taken to approach Kokushibo. You sighed.

You didn't want to admit that you had been betrayed by an ordinary pebble, so you gave away

"-Kokushibo-san, are you done yet?"

"-Yes, why?"

"-Let's go to the town! I want to go there so badly! Please, Kokushibo-san! Anyways what will we do for two weeks while Father, Douma, and Akaza are gone!"

"-I'll train you"

"-Can we do it after the training? The sun will also be setting in the evening, so we will be safe in town."

"-If then, okay. I don't mind."

"-Yay! Thank you Kokushibo-saan!!!"

You ran into him with a hug. After a few seconds, you looked up and smiled, but what you saw surprised you.
Kokushibo's face was turned away, and he was blushing quite visibly.

"-What's wrong? Why does he blush when I touch him lately?"

Then you and Kokushibo went to practice. It was very hard, as usual, and also you already couldn't wait for the evening because it had been a long time since you had been out in the town.

Finally, the evening came. You went to your room, dressed into a y/c kimono with y/c patterns, and then you went to the town.

When you arrived in the town, the sun had already set and it was still a little chilly outside after the morning rain.

At first you walked along the rooftops, but when you saw that there were almost no people, you decided to go down.
You wanted to go to a shop to look for some nice hairpins. At first you wanted to take Kokushibo with you, but then you realized that because he had six eyes, he wouldn't be able to go inside.
He said he would wait outside not far away, so you went in alone.

"-Good evening! What would you like to buy?"

"-Good evening. I'd like to look for some nice hairpins."

"-Oh, of course we can find pretty hairpins for a pretty young lady like you! Let me show you what we have!"

You smiled back and walked over to the counter

You stood there and slowly looked at the jewelry the saleswoman brought, and you had already chosen one.
Suddenly you felt a strange smell, as if someone was watching you. You ignored the smell for a while, because it was quite faint. After a while you paid for the pins, took them, and were about to leave when you felt the smell become very strong. You walked out of the shop and looked around and...
Oh, no. It was the smell of demon slayers. There were several of them, probably Kinoe, standing not far from you, staring at you while you were in the shop. It looks like they were passing by, and they smelled a demon somewhere, but they couldn't tell exactly where. But when you came out, they saw your red eyes and fangs, and one of them shouted

"-Demon is there! Come!"

One of them started approaching you really quickly but your reaction wasn't slower

"-Blood Demon Art: Velvet thorns"

A whirlwind of thorns appeared out of nowhere, biting into the slayer's body, piercing it through and through. He immediately dropped his blade from his hands, falling dead.
You looked around and saw second one running to attack you from the other side.

"-Blood Demon Art: Snowy Edelweiss "

And then a breeze of snow white edelweiss petals blew at an incredible speed, confusing demon slayer for a few seconds and then cutting him to pieces.

You stopped, finally glad that they were done. Fighting with a kinoe rank was still a bit much for you, so you barely caught your breath. Then you smelled something behind you.

"-Oh no. There's three of them."

Before you could react properly, you felt a sharp pain.
Despite the fact that you managed to dodge instinctively, so the fighter hit you in the back instead of the neck, it got to hurt you pretty badly.
"-But the pain... it's is strange...and this cutting... what is it?"
You didn't know what to do, because for some reason the wound still didn't heal, so you just sat there in a stupor for a few moments.

Then slayer got up again and started running in your direction, attacking you.

But less than in a second, you smelled a familiar smell and fast sound of a cut near, as then you felt someone picking you up in his arms, and running away.
