(Y/n's POV:)
Some time later, Akaza and I were walking through the night forest, and I was holding the limb of one of the several demon slayers we had been lucky enough to encounter.

I looked around: the smell of the pine trees, the rustle of the grass underfoot, the sounds of bats and insects hovering around. But the only thing I noticed was that it was to be night, and it was still quite hot.

I looked down at my feet and saw that the grass was really dry, almost completely dried out, which is why it rustled so much. I turned to Akaza, who was walking next to me
"-I wonder why is the grass here so dry"

Akaza turned his gaze to me and answered
"-Hm. Can guess it hasn't rained here for a long time, so it's dried out. "

(No one's POV:)

Thinking about the rain, you thought again about Douma: how you had gone to the fair with him, and then he had carried you through the forest to his temple when the sudden downpour began.
How you lay cuddling with him to the sound of the rain, feeling the soft touch of his warm body.
Your first time with him, accompanied by the sounds of rain and thunderstorms.
Douma has always made you feel loved. You always felt calm and cozy with Douma, always felt completely safe.

Suddenly, tears welled to your eyes, thinking that he is not with you now, and you don't know what Muzan will do with him, or has already done. Will he ever allow you to see him again? Or has he been that seized by anger and indignation so will not allow him to ever speak to you?

You could not find answers to any of these questions until Muzan will talk with you. But he didn't do so from last night, so you were impatient to talk to him, but at the same time... afraid.

You returned to the Infinite Castle and went to your room. You sat down on your bed and saw your notebook and opened it again, continuing to look at your doodle, missing Douma again with renewed vigor. Then you heard Akaza's footsteps approaching the bed and him sitting down next to you.

As them you felt him move over to you, seemingly trying to see what was in the notebook.

You turned the notebook to him so he could see the drawing.
And then something happened to Akaza's expression
"-So it's Douma."

You nodded in agreement, but actually looked a little upset.

"-Ehm... It looks so great!" he quickly added, seemingly thinking he had been too rude.

"-Thank you." you replied dryly, looking away and taking a deep breath to try to calm yourself down.

Akaza quickly sat up and looked you in the eye, suggesting that you might be upset with him after all
"-Oh Y/n I'm sorry if I offended you, the drawing is really very nice, it's just that you know I..."

You didn't let him finish and quickly interrupted

"-It's okay, it's not because of you." and put on a sour smile, that honestly didn't work very well.

Akaza's face changed dramatically
"-Tell me what's wrong, Y/n, please." he said, trying to hide the agitation in his voice.

Then you suddenly felt tears welling up in your eyes, and you threw yourself into Akaza's arms, bursting into tears.

He hugged you back, sliding his muscular arm over your head and back.

His touches were very careful, it was clear that he was very worried and trying to calm you down. But suddenly you caught yourself thinking that nothing could compare to the way Douma is holding you, which made the tears roll down your face with renewed vigor.

You must have sat there for a long time, until you calmed down a bit and found the strength to speak.
Then you, sobbing, told him what had happened, and with every word you said, Akaza's eyes widened.

Finally, you finished and he deeply inhaled and exhaled, saying

"-Y/n.
You know, that I don't like Douma at all, and I would never defend him, but I can't just sit here and watch you cry and suffer, so I'm going to try to do something.
Lord told me yesterday that I have to help him with something today, so I'm going to try to talk to him and make him sure that Douma ...indeed loves you"

Suddenly, he looked away, blushing
"-In any case, I've already seen it for myself."

Looked like he remembered how Douma had kissed you in just front of him in the common living room.

Y/n's eyes visibly brightened, and she moved over to Upper Moon Three, hugging him again.
"-Thank you, Akaza."

(Akaza's POV:)

I was walking through the corridors of the Infinite Castle, trying to catch where the Lord's scent was coming from. When I finally found it, I ran to that place. When I got close enough to him, I saw him standing next to a table, tinkering with the test tubes and books that were lying all over the table. I immediately bowed down

"-Good night, Muzan-sama."
