The sun had already set on the Red Light District, you felt, as you heard someone open the balcony door, letting in the cool evening air mixed with the sounds of the street.
You yawned and sat down on the futon. Daki turned to you.

"-Oh, so you're awake! Good, because the sun will be setting soon and we'll be leaving" she smiled.

Next, you changed your disguise. These clothes were more like simple clothes to go with people from villages or small towns and not stand out.

After that, you went out through the window to the rooftops and walked towards the north, to the forest.

(Y/n's POV:)

We were walking through the forest, enjoying the clean air and the coolness of the night, when the forest began to end and a town appeared in the distance. Although it didn't look large, a small train station appeared near the edge.

Daki cycled around and said.
"-Hm. This must be where they noticed that lower moon with another mouth on him arm."

"-Enmu, right?"

"-Yes, Enmu. I'm sure he was the one who showed up here. As far as I know, he likes trains."

"-You may be right. Although if it were so obvious, Muzan-sama would have said that it was him."

"-That's true. But it doesn't really matter who showed up here, we need to just kill those two Hashira, that's all."

"-That's right."

We moved deeper into the small town, looking at the stalls and people around us.
Everywhere we could hear the cheerful chatter of people, the noise of small town in the evening, the smell of street sweets, and strong wind.
Everyone wanted to sell their goods, buy some buns, chat with a neighbor, and get home for dinner.

But Daki and I weren't focused on that, we were looking for the uniforms of demon slayers among people around us.
We walked down the street for about half an hour without coming across a single trace, so we decided to eat some dorayaki. A few minutes later, we were standing next to the counter, watching our hot dorayaki being cooked. Not long after that, they finally gave them to us.
I smiled and inhaled to smell their sweet scent, when I suddenly felt an unfamiliar strong smell very close to me.

"-I guess I didn't smell it before because of the strong wind" I thought in my head

I turned to Daki and looked into her eyes. She nodded, and I realised that she had felt Hashira too. We started looking around carefully, trying to figure out where they are.

Suddenly I turned around and was horrified. Right behind us, two Pillars were sitting on a bench eating dorayaki. They were talking to each other about something, looking around.
I listened to them

"-...so we will report Oyakata-sama: here's no even a sign of lower moon here. It looks like demon got away before we came here."

"-Oh, but still..."

Suddenly a strong wind blew, and they froze and sniffed, looking around.
They seemed to smell a faint odor of us, but could not tell where it was coming from because of unrelenting wind. One of them seemed to see me staring at him

"-What do you want, girl? Have you lost something?" he said annoyed

I tried to look embarrassed
"-No, no, thank you, everything is fine! Enjoy your meal!" I smiled sourly at the white-haired pillar, who was looking at me with an irritated, tired look.
As suddenly, looking closely, I realised that it was the same Pillar that noticed me that night in Red Light District.

Daki hastily took my hand and we walked around the corner, disappearing from the sight of the two Hashira.
As I walked away from them, hearing them talking quietly to each other

"-But I'm telling you for sure, it was them we saw in the Red Light District that night!"

"-Calm down, you're imagining things, we haven't slept for three days. They are just two ordinary village girls. You see, even their clothes are very simple, and all patched up."

When Daki led us around the corner of street. After she made sure we were no longer in their sight, she exhaled and explained

"-Wind was starting to calm down. If we had stayed a little longer, they would realise that demon smell they just felt belonged exactly to us."

"-What do we do?"

"-We need to wait here for a while until they go back through the forest. In a dense forest with a strong wind blowing our scent away, it won't be hard to kill them. Besides, I heard they are pretty tired because of looking for lower moon for couple of days, so it's even better."

I nodded in agreement.

Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long. After a while, the two Hashiras finished their dorayaki, and after getting up from the bench, they wandered to the outskirts of the town. We waited for a while and ran after them, keeping a distance from which we could not be seen.

Daki and I waited until the Pillars went deeper into the forest, and then we began to close the distance between us, but making sure we remained hidden. It was then that Daki spoke to me

"-Y/n, let's do this: when another strong wind blows, drowning out our sounds, we'll run up and kill them quickly with the Blood Demon Art ."

I nodded.

"-You take the one with the dark hair, he looks a little weaker. Okay?"

"-Alright."

We followed them for some time, and at one point we were literally twenty paces away.

"-How they still didn't notice us?" I thought to myself.

Suddenly we felt a sharp gust of wind, and nodding to each other, we ran towards them. Daki ran a little faster, and so she attacked first, the white-haired Hashira. She was already swinging at him, and my face broke into a smile in anticipation of seeing his head being chopped off with Daki's obi. Then, suddenly, my eyes opened wide.
The pillar had dodged Daki's attack at the last second and whispered something, probably his breathing style, and mirrored her attack, causing her to fly about ten steps away.

I immediately ran up to the dark-haired Pillar, who had momentarily lost his guard, and swung at him from behind, whispering my Blood Demon Art.
As then, the white-haired Hashira yelled

"-Beware! There's another one with her! I told you they were the same demons we saw in Red Light District!!"

And then I fell to the ground.

"-Shit. He managed to dodge!" I heard in my head.

I quickly got up and ran back to the Pillar, but as soon as he saw me, he quickly drew his blade and ran at me, chanting his breathing style.
I whispered my Blood Demon Art, and knocked him down, knocking his blade out of his hands.

Unfortunately, his attack also managed to hit me, wounding me slightly. But as soon as the wound healed after a few seconds, I ran towards him again, this time I decided to combine the three most advanced techniques that Kokushibo had taught me.
I quickly approached him and whispered

"-Blood Demon Art: Moonlight. Blood Demon Art: Snowy Edelweiss. Blood Demon Art: Enchanting symmetry. "

Before Hashira could understand anything, he was immediately blinded by the light of a full, bright moon that appeared from nowhere, and a quick, sudden whirlwind cut him into two equal parts, followed immediately by a wind of shining snow-white petals that were as strong as diamonds and shattered him into countless pieces. I got satisfied

"-My reaction time and technique are perfect. My father will be pleased with me, and I won't have to train with Kokushibo anymore, because I can defend myself perfectly."

And then, in a split second, a chill went down my spine. I suddenly felt a second pillar swing at me from behind. Before I could think, it was approaching me with lightning speed.

"-I'll blow your head off, you filthy creature!!!" he yelled

"-Damn..." was all I could think of as I saw his shining blade an inch away from my neck.
