The Fight

The next morning your thoughts were all over the place.

"I'm the new Spider Woman?, I don't even know how to fight?!" You say and cry in frustration.

"Honey are you ok in there?" Your mom says and knocks on your door.

"Yea I'm fine mom" you say wiping away your tears.

"Ok well breakfast is on the table" your mom says and walks away.

You get dressed in shorts and and a t shirt and a hoodie.
You decide to skip breakfast and go on a walk to clear your mind.
I walk downtown and hear birds chirping and eating crumbs off the floor.
You walked past the park and a couple apartments and end up in-front of an abandoned warehouse. You decided to explore it and go inside.
It's dark and many pod boxes were held in here.
You walk around until you hear a crash and a loud BANG.
You move towards the sound and hide behind a large box.
You peek around the it and see SpiderMan fighting this person who had a lot of metal hands and they were wearing glasses.
The octopus villain person was grabbing SpiderMan and throwing him around.

"Ouch" you thought.

When you turn to leave you couldn't move your hand. It was stuck again to the box.

"You've got to be kidding me!" You say in panic and try to pull your hand away but then one of the hands of the octopus villain grabbed the box and you were lifted off the ground.
Your legs dangled as you looked down at the ground in panic.

"Please keep sticking!" You prayed as the box was lifted higher and higher.

Then the box was thrown at Spiderman and you went flying with it.
You managed to get unstuck before the box hit the wall but then you were free falling to your death.

Panic shot through your whole body as you were waiting for impact, but then SpiderMan swung towards you and grabbed right before you hit the floor.
He brought you to a safe place in the warehouse and put you down.
You sighed in relief and thanked the lord you didn't die.

"Thank you" you managed to say.

"Your welcome but be more careful, you shouldn't be here" he said.

"I didn't mean to I just wanted to check this place out and I saw you guys fighting and I wanted to leave but my hand stuck to the box, I know it probably sounds strange but it happened and I couldn't unstick it and then that box was picked up and my hand stopped to sticking to it and I feel and-"

"Ok, ok I don't need you to narrate the whole situation" Spiderman says jokingly.

"Well I wanted you to know so you don't think I fell for a stupid reason."

"Well don't worry I believe you" he says and he turns to swing away but then that weird feeling happens again and it's so strong that you have a hard time keeping your eyes open but Spiderman seems to have the same thing.

"Your like me" he says.

"Ok so I know this is probably a lot to take in right now but don't worry I'll help you, I just have to beat this villain right now" he says reassuringly.

You nod and swings off.

So many things were going through your head right now and it was too much to handle.

"I don't have what it takes to protect Brooklyn and be a superhero?! I can barely run damn it!" You say in frustration.

You decided to wait here for Spiderman and after 30 minutes or so you see him swinging back towards you.

"Sorry I kept you waiting, it took a long time to beat them" he says.

You sit there silently.

"Can you talk?" He says.

"Obviously" you retorted.

"Oh where's your sense of humor, come on Spiderman is supposed to be funny!" He says happily.

"Well I didn't really want to be a stupid spider person anyways" you say angrily.

"Well too bad you are now so I'm going to have to train you so you can fight alongside me!"

"Ok whatever"

"So what's your name going to be?"

"What do you mean? it's Y/n"

"Well you have to have a superhero name, you can't let people know your identity" he says seriously.

"Well umm I'll do Spider Woman" you say in remembrance of Gwen.

"Oh that's nice going after my old partner" he says and seems a little sad.

"I'm sorry she's gone now she was really kind"

"You knew her?" He asked.

"Well before she went to her dimension I saw who she really was and we had the same connection I had with you!"

"Oh ok, well anyways we better get training!" Spiderman says enthusiastically.

"Well I have to go home now it's past lunch now, my mom must be worried" you say.

"Well just tell her you have plans" Spiderman says.

"No I can't lie to my mom!" You say stunned.

"Well get ready because your going to be lying to your parents more than ever now, you can't tell anyone your Spider Woman, no one must know, it's a sacrifice but it's the job you have to do it" he says with a hint of sympathy.

"I'll wait for you outside, you know what to do" he says and swings off.

You sit there and open your messages and go to your mother. You type out that you have plans with a couple of friends from school until late at night.
You sit there for awhile debating if you want to send it or not.

"You couldn't lie to your mom it's just wrong!"

But then a voice inside of you is also saying that you have to it's a sacrifice. Finally after awhile you send the text and put your phone in your pocket and walk out of the building.

Wow your finally SpiderWoman but it's a lot of responsibility!
