Yesterday was pretty insane. Saanvi demands that I take her home randomly during our beach getaway. I tried to ask her what happened but she wouldn't budge. I feel bad. I have been so distant lately trying to help my siblings get my mom into rehab again. I want to be there for Saanvi though, she is so amazing and she doesn't even know it.

Saanvi and I are currently cuddling in bed after class. She is laying her head on my stomach and I'm rubbing her soft curls. Her presence is so comforting. I love being around her.

"You okay?" I asked her because she didn't seem okay after chemistry class.

I bet you all the money in the world it's Arjun fault for her damper mood. He treats her like shit. I hate him. I don't know why everyone wants her to be friends with that diva. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but I literally saw him assault her at the beach. Men aint shit.

" Im okay , Belle" Saanvi says in a whisper.

I know she isn't okay because yesterday on the car ride back from the beach she was crying.

I just sigh and bend down planting a kiss on her cheek. She giggles and tries to hide her face. Her laugh is angelic. I never met a person so perfect before.

I slightly push her off of me to go to the bathroom. I lock the door and go under my side of the cabinet and grab a pregnancy test.

I have been testing positive for three days but it can't be right. It can't be. I'm only 18. My life has hardly begun. How can I take care of a child when I'm just a child myself?

I pee on the stick and I begin to pace around the bathroom waiting for the results. When my timer goes off I look at the stick and tears begin to spill. Positive. Again.

I sit on the toilet seat dissecting my life. My life is now over.

I impulsively throw the stick to the ground and sob. I didn't even realize how much noise I was making until Saanvi's voice shocked me back into reality.

"You okay in there? I heard a loud noise." She is a bit panicky.

I quickly pick up the stick and grab my weed pen before opening the door smiling.

"Sorry girl, i'm hitting my pen and almost died just now" I say fake laughing.

Saanvi studies my face before smiling.

"Let me in, I want to smoke with you." She says with the most beautiful smile ever. Her dimples poked out to say hello to me.

"No!" I answer quickly and harsher than I mean to.

"Oh." She says and the sun that was once on her face drops and she walks away.

I sigh, closing the door. I take the pregnancy test and I put it in a plastic bag, then another, then another , and I throw it out like it's a pad so Saanvi doesn't think anything of it.

I'm having an abortion. I'm so ashamed but my life has just begun. I can't let this set me back. I will regret it forever.

I walk out of the bathroom then I make my way over to Saanvi.

"I didn't mean to yell at you sunshine, my period just started and i'm so crampy right now." I say pulling her into a hug and she hugs me back. We sat like that for a while.

She breaks the hug when someone knocks on the door.

"I swear to god if it's Arjun , I will shoot him.''She says angrily. I almost laughed. Saanvi swears she is so tough but she is so adorable when she is angry. I dont have the heart to tell her she looks like a baby deer when she is upset.
