Chapter 11: The Future of the Force

Departing from the planet Chandel, a passenger ship is captured by an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. Once docked with the ship, the Inquisitors board the transport searching for a child. They soon find the infant, known as Alora, with her grandmother, Darja, who tries to make a run for it but is eventually cornered.

Darja warns them to stay away from her granddaughter, but the Seventh Sister approaches and coldly assures her they only wish to make friends with Alora – but first there is some business to attend to, as the Fifth Brother ignites his lightsaber and sets the blades spinning, throwing it down the corridor at the ship's passengers. Killing them all.

Meanwhile on Garel, Ahsoka and Darrel pays Kanan Jarrus a visit.

"This is unexpected," Kanan said to the commanding officers. "Don't get me wrong, it's always good to see you both, but it usually means there's danger."

"What we have to say is Jedi business," Ahsoka said.

"Then I guess I qualify," Kanan said.

"We definitely qualify more than Ahsoka does," Darrel said as the three adults walked into the Ghost while the teens watched.

"I can't believe it, they're having a Jedi conversation without us," Zalo said slightly offended as he ran to the Ghost. "Come on, Ezra."

"We're really going to spy on your parents?" Ezra asked, catching up to his friend.

"I've done worse," Zalo called back. "Did my dad ever tell me about an incident on Nar Shaddaa?"

"No," Ezra replied.

"Good." Zalo said as he smirked.

Meanwhile, inside Kanan's room, the three Force wielders were discussing something important.

"Darrel and I have been receiving signals from Mustafar to find out more about Vader," Ahsoka said.

"And?" Kanan asked.

"So far, we have found out very little about him," Darrel said. "But we learned more about his Inquisitors,"

"It seems they have a secondary mission to make retrievals," Ahsoka stated.

"We know they hunt Jedi. What else do they hunt?" Kanan asked.

Ahsoka sighed. "We can only speculate for now,"

"I managed to decode two locations, Darrel and I will check out the first one," Ahsoka said.

"And you want me to check out the second one?" Kanan said. "I'm in."

"You should probably take Ezra and Zalo with you," Ahsoka said.

"Yeah, Darrel added. "Besides, they're already briefed on the mission,"

Darrel pushes the door controls, opening the door. Ezra and Zalo were on the other side as they fell down. Ahsoka quietly giggled and rolled her eyes.

"We definitely aren't eavesdropping. We were just passing through." Zalo said as he tried to lie.

"Yeah. Mhm." Darrel said. "Right, let's get to it."

Later, the three Jedi and Zalo took the Phantom to the planet where the second transmission came from and landed at the nearest spaceport, exiting the ship.

"So, did Ahsoka and Darrel say exactly what we were looking for?" Zeb asked.

"Nope, they just said we have to get it before the Inquisitors do," Kanan replied.

"And knowing my parents, they always leave something out," Hunter said.

"Chopper, do you have those coordinates?" Kanan asked as Chopper uploaded them into his system and projected a hologram.
