After the skirmish on Lothal, and the Commander Ship's destruction, Phoenix Squadron has been trying it's best to lay low away from their Imperial pursuers. On a Command Bridge on a Corellian Corvette, the rebels had a meeting on the destruction regarding the attack on their fleet, Commander Sato participated via hologram.
"The destruction of our command ship has severely limited our ability to fight the Empire in this sector." Sato stated.
Ezra walked up to Sato's hologram and looked at him.
"So maybe we don't fight. Uh, Commander Sato, sir. When things got tough for me on Lothal, I'd go find some place to hide." Ezra said.
"You are never shy with your opinions, Ezra Bridger, but establishing a base is a good idea." Sato replied.
"Problem is, none of the potential bases we know of have the tactical advantage we need to protect what's left of our fleet." Hera said.
"Or aid the nearby systems suffering from Imperial oppression." Kanan replied.
"We can't help others if we can't help ourselves, Kanan. If only we had more allies." Hera said.
Ahsoka and Darrel knew exactly who to track down for this, they stepped forward.
"We know someone who might be able to help us." Ahsoka said.
"A great military commander, with a vast knowledge of the Outer Rim. He could assist us in finding a base, and his experienced leadership would make him a powerful ally." Darrel added.
"How do we recruit this leader?" Sato asked.
"That's the problem." Darrel replied.
"We lost track of him a long time ago, and all our transmissions have gone unanswered." Ahsoka said.
"We can find him. Let us try!" Ezra pleaded.
"Well, there is one option we've not yet attempted."Ahsoka replied.
Later in the Ghost, the Ghost Crew, along with Zalo were waiting in the cockpit, as Darrel and Ahsoka enter the cockpit and Ahsoka was holding the head of an old Tactical Droid. She put it down near the controls of the ship.
"Is that the head of an old tactical droid?" Kanan asked.
"These droids were great at finding things, calculating. Found my master and I a few times when we didn't want to be found." Ahsoka said.
"How in all the galaxy is that droid gonna find your friend?" Ezra asked.
"Well, we heard he was last seen in the Seelos system. You can start there." Ahsoka replied.
"You're not coming with us?" Ezra asked.
"We have something else to attend to." Darrel replied.
"The Sith Lord." Kanan said.
"There are questions, questions that need answering." Ahsoka replied.
Ahsoka and Darrel started to walk to the exit of the Ghost.
"I wish we could go with you." Ezra said.
"You have your own mission, Ezra. We have our own. Zalo will be with you though!" Darrel replied.
"And, Kanan, if you find our friend, you must trust him." Ahsoka said.
"If he's all the things you say, we can't afford not to." Kanan replied.
"Trust him." Ahsoka and Darrel said.
