A few weeks later, after the incidents with Maul, the Ghost crew was flying through hyperspace, joined by Zalo, Tyra, and Chopper. Tyra was clad in a black leather suit with armor plates on her shoulders, shins, and chest.

"So, do we finally get to find out what this mission is about?" Ezra asked. Sabine smacked the back of his head, making Zalo laugh.

"Hera already told you it's a secret," she said.

"Isn't that what we normally do?" Ezra asked.

"Some things more than others," Hera replied, turning to Ezra and Chopper. "Okay, Chopper, put command through."

Chopper activated a hologram, revealing Commander Sato and...

"Senator Organa?" Hera asked.

"I wanted to explain the mission personally, Captain Syndulla. There is much at stake," Organa replied.

"How can we help?" Kanan asked.

"Rebel Command received your report on the sudden disappearance of the Geonosian people. We decided to take the risk and investigate."

"So we're hunting Geonosians now?" Zalo asked.

"No, you're looking for the team we already sent. We lost contact with them two cycles ago."

"Do you think it was the Empire?" Kanan asked.

"Unknown. We lost contact after the team reported an energy source on the planet's surface."

"Energy source?" Hera said. "When we went to Geonosis, there was nothing, no signs of life or power."

"Your primary mission is to recover our people and any intel they gathered."

"Who is it that we're looking for?" Hera asked.

"Saw Gerrera," Rex replied, making the others look at him.

Later, the Ghost came out of hyperspace and appeared in front of Geonosis.

"The construction and debris we saw last time are gone," Hera said.

"Well, I'm picking up a power source on the surface right where Command said it would be," Sabine said. "But I can't reach Saw on any channel, only static."

"Geonosians live underground, probably why Saw and his team can't hear our transmissions," Kanan said.

"I hope you're right," Tyra said, worried about her uncle.

"Let's take a closer look," Hera said as she entered the planet's atmosphere, and a dust storm forced her to land.

"I had to set her down, but we're in the neighborhood," Hera said.

"According to Command, Gerrera's team landed two clicks north of our position," Rex said.

"Maybe they took shelter there," Zack suggested.

"It's possible," Sabine said. "Sabine, what about the power source you detected?"

"Different location but close, and thanks to the storm, I can't tell where or what it is," Sabine said.

"Keep working on it," Hera said. "Until we find out more about that power source, we'll split into two groups. Rex, Kanan, Ezra, Zalo, Tyra, and Chopper, go and check out the area of Saw's last transmission."

Later, the Rebels made their way inside the temple and looked for Saw and his team.

"I can't believe the bugs built this?" Ezra asked, looking around the temple.

"Oh, yeah," Rex replied. "They were more clever than you think, and creative doesn't mean they're not dangerous as well."

"So, Rex, how do you know Saw Gerrera?" Kanan asked.
