Enid was putting her school books in her bag. Wednesday rubbed up her ankle. Enid reached out to stroke her cheek. The cat arched her back and leaning against Enid's hand. She picked up her friend and looked down at her watch. " Oh I have to go Winnie I'm running late. As soon as we find a cure you are going back to class because I can't keep making up excuses for you." Enid explained. She grabbed her bag and shut the door behind her. Wednesday did not approve of the 'ignorance' shown by her friend and decided to sleep for a few hours before Enid got back.
Meanwhile, Thing was doing some errands for Wednesday.
-Keeping up with her school work so she won't fall behind.
-Starting the next chapter of Wednesday's novel.
- Writing interesting facts about bees explained by Eugene.
- Beating Bianca at every fencing lesson.
1:30 pm
A few hours later, Enid walks in the door and Wednesday is there at her feet. " You miss me Winnie?" She asked as she dropped her bag on the floor. "I can do my homework later." She said as her feline roommate wanted some attention. Enid began relaxing on her bed checking her socials. The cat pounced on Enid's bed, Climbing into her lap. Enid stroked her head and back. She relaxed in her arms and closed her eyes. They enjoyed each other's company as Enid was stressed over her break up with Ajax, or Tyler's gang picking on her friend in her lap. "Don't worry Winnie, I'll protect you My kitty." Enid said petting the sleeping cat. She wasn't sure but she thought she heard Wednesday purr again.
