What an adventure it has been finally putting Fort Oakley out into the world.
Now, I know it's not the best story out there. I know my writing isn't that good, and that there are plot holes in this story. But just being able to say that my story, specifically Fort Oakley, was out here, was a dream I never thought I would achieve, yet here we are.
So if you gave Part One a chance, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking a chance on me, and for taking a chance on Charly, Jacey, and even little Mason.
Even if you started reading this story and decided you didn't like it, thank you. (the probability of you then seeing this thank you isn't very high, but still)
Now, with Part One done and dusted, it's time to talk about Part Two of the Fort Oakley series.
The planning is still in the works, although I have the basic outline completed. Part One will be left here to cook, and hopefully, by the time I start Part Two, we will have hit at least 1k reads.
