After years (give or take five) of brainstorming, planning, drafting, replotting, and rewriting, I have decided that the Fort Oakley series is finally ready to see the world.
Over the years, I have started and stopped writing multiple stories to work on Fort Oakley, and while I am not proud of this, it had to be done so that Fort Oakley could finally happen.
For those of you who read The Dying Tide, once I am finished with the Fort Oakley series, I will go back to replotting and rewriting TDT and the interconnected stories that would have followed TDT.
All That's Left will also be completed after Fort Oakley, but for now and the foreseeable year and a half, Fort Oakley will be the only story I am focusing on.
With all that being said, I do hope you guys enjoy this series as much as I did when I was planning/writing it.
I am only human, and I know I make mistakes, so feel free to:
- give constructive criticism
- be a grammar nazi since I tend to be one myself (towards my friends, not other writers)
- correct me on any geographical information or other information I get wrong about the USA and its States. I am not a US citizen, and any information I get is from resources on the internet.
