Walking into the kitchen everyone was standing around the large island making sandwiches, Mia walked up to stand next to Grant and he handed her a plate with a sandwich already on it and said, "This one is for you." She simply nodded and watched him fix himself a sandwich. Grace smiled at her and asked, "Mia I love your T-shirt, I can never get Gavin to give me any." Mia laughed and said, "Well since one of his customers ripped my blouse off in his club, he was sort of obligated to give me one, not to mention Grant made him." Everyone laughed except Tabitha who said, "So you are stripping in clubs these days."

Mia ignored the comment, but Gavin said, "No she is not, she was there with a group of friends including Grant when a drunk customer decided he was going to dance with her and Jade. They resisted and when he would not stop Mia kicked him to get away. Unfortunately, he grabbed her blouse and tore it apart, luckily Grant brought her to my office so I could give her a shirt to wear." Tabitha not being the brightest bulb said, "Well that just goes to show you should not hang around in sleazy bars." Everyone around the island went quiet and Tabitha said, "It is true, it is her fault for hanging out in a sleazy bar." Gavin moved so he was standing right in front of her, and he asked, "Are you calling my bar sleazy?" Tabitha realized her error at that point and tried to back track, but she just dug the hole deeper. Finally, Gabe just said, "Shut up Tabitha you are not helping yourself." She stopped talking, but she continued to glare at Mia.

Everyone was finishing their sandwiches when Tabitha's phone rang, she answered it and moved out of the room. Mia asked Gavin and Matt, "What do you need me to do next?" But before they could answer Tabitha came back into the room and got up into Mia face and said, "How dare you." Mia stepped back and said, "I am sorry I have no clue what you are talking about." Tabitha went on a rant about how her mother was just served with a restraining order and how dare Mia do something like that. Saying her mother was a pillar of society and did not deserve such treatment. When she finished her little tirade, Grant said, "Mia did not request the restraining order I did. Your mother has been calling her 15-20 times a day, leaving rude and vile messages. And she tried to assault her in my garage this week."

Tabitha shrugged and said, "She probably deserved it." Everyone just looked at her like she was crazy, and Gabe said, "That is enough, I saw the footage and heard some of the messages, your mother has lost it and if you cannot see that fact, you are as delusional as she is, and I think we need to stop seeing each other." Tabitha went into her baby voice and tried to persuade Gabe that he just misunderstood her and her mother, but he held strong and said, "I am taking you home, we need some time apart to think."

Once they were left Gavin said, "Mom are you and dad staying here or at Grant's house tonight?" Grace looked at him and said, "Either is fine with us." Grant said, "Stay at my house tonight and let Gavin and Matt have a chance to get settled before they have company." Grace nodded and said, "That is fine." Gavin looked at Mia and said, "I think we are done except for the spare bedroom and the workout room on that side of the house. Matt what is left in the kitchen?" Matt replied, "Not a lot, I think Grace and I can finish it."

Mia said, "How about I go back to Grant's house and get the guest room ready and cook some dinner for everyone. That way when you are done here everyone can just come down there and have dinner." Gavin nodded and said, "That is a great idea." Mia pulled her car keys from her back pocket and started walking towards the door, but Grant followed her and asked, "Are you OK after that scene." Mia nodded and said, "Yes, I am OK. But do you have a second set of sheets for the guest room, or do I just need to strip those and wash them?" Grant told her where the extra sheets were and told her she could grab anything from the pantry, fridge or freezer that she needed for dinner.

Mia parked in the garage, closed the garage door and then decided to check out the freezer. She found two packages of Italian sausage, so she pulled those out, and then her bags from the fridge and headed inside. After giving Gunner some love, she put the meat into some water to start thawing and headed to the guest room. She stripped the bed, remade it with clean sheets and put the used ones in the washer. She then went and made sure the bathroom was clean, and then downstairs to check out the den. She picked up her clothes from the night before and made sure the playroom was locked. She and Gunner headed upstairs, and she pulled what she needed from the pantry and fridge to start the spaghetti sauce. Mia learned to make the sauce from Angie, who said it was the easiest sauce since you used what you had.
