Elizabeth:
I panted as the Doctor pulled me through stop traffic, I could faintly hear Rose behind panting to. People in their cars hopping at to yell at each just as we reached the barricade. Panting I leaned down and put my hands on my knees 'god that sucked...' I thought tiredly
"It's blocked off!" The Doctor said looking at the barricade, I scoff in response looking up at him.
"We're miles from the centre!" Rose panted "The city must be gridlocked..the whole of London must me closing down."
"I know, I can't believe I'm here to see this! This is fantastic!" The Doctor exclaimed happily, I roll my eyes in response
"Did you know this was going to happen?" I asked tiredly frowning at the barricade
"Nope!"
"Do you recognize the ship?" Rose asked
"Nope!"
"Do you know why it crashed?" I asked
"Nope!"
"Oh, so glad we got you!" Rose huffed out making me laugh, the Doctor nudging me in response.
"I bet you are. This is what I travel for, Rose!" He told her "To see history happening right in front of us!" I nodded in response
"Well, let's go and see it." Rose sighed "Never mind the traffic. We've got the TARDIS!"
"Yeah no, we better not Rose. They're already on red alert, put another space ship there is just asking for trouble." I muttered looking over at her
"Yeah, but ours is like a big blue box. No one's gonna notice." Rose huffed
"Please, these idiots would notice an extra penny if they thought it was extraterrestrial." I scoffed "Trust me, we're better off down here." I feel the Doctor looking at me but I shrug it off as I stare past the barricade
"So history's happening, and we're stuck here?" Rose muttered pouting
"Yes we are." The Doctor sighed
"Could always watch it in the Telly?" I shrugged making them turn to me "What?"

The Doctor:
I sat quietly watching the news, flipping through channels I could faintly hear Eliza making tea in Rose kitchen. Setting the remote down when I see Eliza come and hand me some tea, smiling gently down at me. I nod my head in thanks watching her leave back to the kitchen before turning back to the tv.
"I've got no choice." Jackie complained making me roll my eyes
"You broke your mothers heart," her neighbor scolded
"Either I make him welcome..."
"She's sobbing in my arms."
"...or I risk never seeing you again."
"I cradled her like a child!"
"Oi! I'm trying to listen!" I shouted at them, I heard Eliza telling them to quiet down so I can watch the tv.
Her head quickly turning towards the tv when they said the found a body. "Eliza can you help me in the kitchen?" I heard Jackie ask faintly making Eliza's attention go to Jackie. I lean forward to hear the tv better as the apartment began to fill up. Suddenly the tv started flipping channels, I turn to see a little boy with the remote. I playfully try to wrestle it from him.
"Oh come here sweet boy," I heard Eliza coo as she picked up the young boy "Let the man have his remote." She gently pried the remote from his hand giving it back to me "Let's go see mummy yeah? Maybe she'll give us a snack." She whispered to the boy walking away with a smile on her face, my eyes following her as she does so, a small smile on my face. Sighing I turn back to the tv focusing on it. 'It's to loud in here..' I thought bitterly getting up to sneak outside, closing the door quietly I turn and see Eliza who's was watching me with an raised eyebrow.
"You going somewhere?" She joked smiling at me
"Just a bit to human in there for me." I muttered back standing next to her "What you doing out here?"
"To many people, made me anxious." She shrugged looking down at her hands
"You okay?" I nudge her slightly
"Yeah, feeling okay. Just not a fan of crowds." She mumbled out.
"Wanna go do something?" I asked smiling down at her making her look at me "Was gonna go check out the body, wanna come?"
"Anything to save me from this place." She joked grabbing my hand ready to pull me to the TARDIS I chuckled letting her.
"Where are you to going?!" I heard Rose shout behind us making us stop.
"Doctors taking me on a walk, feeling a bit anxious." Eliza replied effortlessly.
"Yeah a walk, nothing to do with the alien?" Rose scoffed.
"Off on a wander, that's all." I smiled trying to convince her.
"Right, space ship on Thames and alien body. You two just wandering?" Rose said sarcastically
"Nothing to do with me, it's not an invasion. That was a genuine crash landing. Angle of descent, colour of smoke, everything. It was perfect." I replied.
"So?" Rose drew out.
"So this is it, first contact! The day we come all officially come in contact with an alien race." Eliza smiled brightly.
"I'm not interfering, humanity is on its own. Just this morning you were tiny and small and made of clay. Now you can expand!" I laughed "You don't need me. Go and celebrate history."
"Go spend time with your mum," Eliza said softly grasping my hand as we turn to leave.
"Promise you won't disappear?" Rose called after us making me stop. I begin patting my pockets before pulling out a key.
"Tell you what. TARDIS key. About time you had one. See you later." I gave it to her with a smile and rejoined Eliza who was waiting for me.
"How sweet," she cooed grabbing my hand as we walked to the TARDIS "do I get one to?"
"Obviously," I scoffed "I gotta make you one though."
"Is it going to be just like Roses? Like a mass production?" She questioned glancing up at me
"It's the same yeah," I nodded as we neared the TARDIS.
"I'll get a nice keychain for it then," she smiled entering the TARDIS. I chuckled walking in after her, going to the console.
"A nice keychain?" I questioned starting up the ship.
"Yeah, maybe a nice flower or something." She nodded leaning next to me "Changing the topic, the alien." I glance at her with a raised brow.
"What about it?"
"Well, what if it's just...a hoax." She muttered glancing up at me "or some kind of ploy."
"But what if it wasn't?" I smiled "we'll find out, come on." I landed the ship grabbing her hand. "We have an alien to see."

Eliza:
The Doctor opened the TARDIS door and frowned "Did you park us in a cupboard?" I asked as we squeezed out of the TARDIS
"I parked us fine," he defended walking to the cupboard door, pulling out his Sonic which made a small noise. He immediately shushed it making me chuckle softly. He opened the door to what looked like a guard break room, they all quieted down turning to face us before quickly grabbing their guns. I smiled awkwardly as I stood next to the Doctor knowing he was doing the same. I stepped slightly behind the Doctor when I heard a scream.
"Defense plan Delta! Come on, move! Move!" The Doctor shouted as he grabbed my hand running through the guards who automatically followed us. We ran into the morgue seeing an empty and open body box, I felt my eyes widen as I turn and look around see the person who preformed the autopsy.
"Tosh.." I whispered run over to her, pulling her into me
"It's alive!" She gasped grabbing on to me, her eyes looking to the Doctor.
"Spread out, tell the perimeter it's a lockdown."
He ordered the guards "Do it!" He shouted when they didn't move. I held on to Tosh trying to calm her down ignoring the blood from her wound getting on me.
"I swear it was dead," she sputtered out
"Coma, shock, hibernation, could be anything.." i muttered to her "What does it look like?" I questioned, flinching when I heard something fall in the room. The Doctor turning to the noise as well.
"It's still here," he said softly, he got up and gestured for a guard to stay next to me and Tosh as he went towards the noise. I swallowed nervously as the alien hit something again making the doctor fall into a crouch. He slowly crawled to look behind a cabinet "Hello," he said softly when he saw the alien. The alien squeals running away making the guard stand and load up his gun, Tosh gripping on to me. "Don't shoot!" The Doctor ordered as he chased after it, me following soon after as I got Tosh to let me go.
Hearing a gun shot I gasped pushing my way through the door, seeing the alien on the floor. "What did you do that for? It was scared!" The Doctor shouted as I brushed past him, crouching next to the alien or should I say pig. A frown takes over my face as I gently petted his head as he died.  The Doctor crouched next to me laying a hand on my shoulder, I sighed leaning into him.
'Poor thing,' I thought as we took it back the morgue, now standing over it with the Doctor and Tosh.
"I just assumed that's what aliens looked like. But you're saying it's an ordinary pig from Earth?" She questioned look at us.
"More like a mermaid, the cats head on the fishes body." I stated leaning into the Doctor, his arm wrapping around my waist.
"Now someone's taken a pig, opened up its brain, stuck bits on, then they've strapped it in that ship, made it dive bomb. It must've been terrified." The Doctor said bitterly, I frowned grabbing his hand. "They've taken this animal and turned it into a joke."
"So it's a fake, a pretend, like the mermaid.-" Tosh started as the Doctor quietly pulled us from the room and back to the TARDIS. He quickly started up the ship with a bitter look on his face.
"Taking us back to Rose?" I asked softly sitting on the jump seat.
"Yeah, after I look at the crash landing again. You said it yourself. A hoax or a ploy," he ranted looking at his console.
"Doctor," I started "I was hoping I was wrong but I guess that does mean trouble, doesn't it?" I questioned with a frown.
"Big trouble, the question is who-" he turned to me "you have blood on you, are you hurt?" He walked over lifting my chin to look at my neck more closely, inspecting it for wounds.
"No, Tosh was. I held her and she must've bled on me." I muttered looking at him, he frowned gently touching my neck.
"You sure? No wounds?" He questioned looking into my eyes.
"Positive, though I wouldn't mind help cleaning it off." I said softly touching his hand, he chuckled letting me go. He walked deeper into the TARDIS before coming back out with a want rag, he gently lifted my face again cleaning the blood off. He finished cleaning off the blood looking into my eyes, his hand holding my face gently caressed it before letting go.
"Come on, let's go back to Rose." He said softly going back to the console, I frowned touching the spot he held before walking after him.
"You wanna know something?" I asked him, leaning on the console.
"What?" He looked over to me.
"Rose is going to be so pissed we left," I smiled mischievously up at him making him laugh. Oh we're going to be just fine Doctor, just fine..
